RoxSox 3,593 Posted December 6, 2013 http://variety.com/2013/film/news/disney-acquires-indiana-jones-rights-from-paramount-1200927216/ So, just to make sure everybody is clear on this: Disney now ones Marvel, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and soon, your soul. Shulk 8,623 Posted December 6, 2013 Under the arrangement, Disney gains distribution and marketing rights to future films, in addition to retaining the ownership rights it secured when it acquired Lucasfilm. Oh geez time to prepare for Indiana Jones 5. Also, I'd always assumed that they did have the rights since they bought out Lucasfilms. Huh.

RoxSox 3,593 Posted December 7, 2013 Am I the only won who actually likes Kingdom of the Crystal skull? I can't really say that I loved it but I don't understand the hate for it. It seems that the only problems people actually have with it are a few ridiculous things that happen, and the fact that it was aliens the whole time... The Indy movies always had some ridiculous moments, and it was always partially supernatural, so I don't get why people think it was really that bad. Skywalker82 1 Posted December 29, 2013 Disney also owns Pixar and Muppets too besides Lucasfilm and Marvel don't forget. I can imagine the opening being the Lucasfilm logo then a live action shot of a German castle with the words Walt Disney Pictures on it. Maybe in a future KH game we can see Indiana Jones world with Mola Ram as a heartless master plus Short Round as a summon with a Golden Idol Keyblade. I hope the next movie ignores the events of the crappy part 4 movie (Lucas really screwed it up like he did with SW) and stick to mysticism and magic stuff like maybe Atlantis or Japanese mythology. Buttercup Camera 229 Posted January 2, 2014 For how much I love Disney.... no. Indiana Jones is over. No need to make a new film for Mickey's sake! Dude, the headmasters of Disney are complete idiots. They shut down Lucasarts and canceled Star Wars: The Clone Wars series when it was reaching its auge! Disney also owns Pixar and Muppets too besides Lucasfilm and Marvel don't forget. I can imagine the opening being the Lucasfilm logo then a live action shot of a German castle with the words Walt Disney Pictures on it. Dave 5,715 Posted January 2, 2014 Oh, no! Now Indiana Jones will be over the top, kind of silly at times, and not have the same sort of dramatic atmosphere as the Godfather! Oh, wait. It was always these things. I hold out the same opinion as I have about Disney's Star Wars. So long as the movies are fun, I don't care.
