Thank you for purchasing The World! The hit VRMMORPG bringing the world by storm every single day! Since our new update, we've had plenty of extra stuff to do, but it's still very open to anyone new playing the game! Now please, create a character, and do what you like. The World has no purpose other than to have fun!

 

Achi logged into The World for the very first time. He saw the town before him, Mac Anu, and various other players walking around, all of them looking different, but some of them having similar builds. He saw in the lower-left part of his eye the message board, where anything important will be listed. The setting was set to "Private", as the default, with the only thing it said was "ArchLore has logged in." He looked down at his two short swords, his default weapons for a Twin Blade. Achi then looked around, with a big smile on his face. "Right, now where is he..." he said. While the game translated his words for the message board, anyone who was around the general vicinity could've heard him with an actual voice, which has been modified in game. Only made possible with the advanced engines of CC Corp technology.

Razor saw the new player enter the game. He realized how little friends he had. Well now was a good a time as any. "Hey!" He said to Aichi. "You need any help?"

Achi looked at the player, kind of skeptical to say anything, but he knew it'd be rude to not speak to him. "No, not really. I'm just looking for a friend of mine. He said that as soon as I came online, I should come find him as soon as possible!"

"Oh..." He looked at the boy. "Why do you want to play this game? I mean, I really don't care for this game that much. I mean, I like it, but when I meet people online, I can't convey my self that well. "

Aya's in-game form slowly appeared as Rin logged in, no, she wasn't Rin anymore...she was Aya. She fixed a couple of things with her settings, and looked around.

"What can I do today....?" She asked, it appearing in the message board.

She turned a bit, seeing the two weapons on her back.

"Oh..." He looked at the boy. "Why do you want to play this game? I mean, I really don't care for this game that much. I mean, I like it, but when I meet people online, I can't convey my self that well. "

"Well, I understand what you mean...meanwhile, as for why I want to play...I guess it's because my friend invited me. That, and I've always had a love for RPG's! If that's not reason enough, I don't know what is!" Achi said, smiling. "So then, let's introduce ourselves. My name...rather my username...is ArchLore, but just call me Arch, kay? How about you?"

Koukon stretched, having finally returned to The World after a long day of school. "Ah... Alright, time to get going! I've got a busy day ahead of me!" He ran off, racing through the streets of Mac Anu. He made his way over to a store, where the owner gave him a usual greeting. Koukon bought a couple potions, and teleported to a newbie area. "Alright, time to see what's new around here..." He eyed his surroundings, trying to find a promising looking player.

 

 

"The World... So, this is the game everyone's been talking about?" Haruka looked at the game. She'd just bought and installed it, and was preparing to play it for the first time. She'd never played it before, but was ready now. She plugged in her headset (I'm sure the new version of The World would support mic usage... right? ) and launched the game.

 

After creating her character, Shiki spawned in a huge, crowded town. "Whoa... This place looks so cool!" She shouted, excited by her new setting. She gazed around the town, absolutely impressed by the architecture and how realistic everything looked. "Er... I wonder where I should go first...?" She made her way through the town, trying to learn more about its layout.

"Razor." He said to Arch. "So, your friend like rpg's like this?" He showed his blade. "I chose blade master. It was the basic class, and I am not good at strategizing my avatars, so I just code the first one."

"Right, right. I could understand that. Meanwhile, I'm pretty good with stuff like that. Meanwhile, I chose Twin Blade!" He said, pulling out his short swords. "Faster attacks, double damage output, and less defense. At least, that's what I imagine it to be, from the looks," he said, putting his blades away. He then saw a girl walking around, looking a bit lost. "Erm...sorry, but I think that girl needs a bit of help. Hope we meet again!" He said to Razor, dashing off towards the girl.

After getting through the Character Creation, a Teenage boy appeared in the starting area.

 

"...Hmm?" Tora looked around to see his surroundings. So many people, many different races! "...!" He saw a fpuntain, maybe if he threw in a coin, he can make a wish? But Tora didn't have any money, he doesn't know how the game worked. Tora then looked at the water, seeing a reflection. He is no longer who he is in reality, he is now known as Seliph, a Novice Wavemaster.

 

"Right then..." *Looking a his hands, body, White Hair, and purple eyes. Gripping his starting weapon, ready to play! "Fire!" He shouted, but no magic would show. "Uh... Come on! Fire!...Inferno! Blaze! ...Heal?" why couldn't he cast any magic? "Ugh...now how do I open a menu?"

Shiki turned towards the guy who'd just run up to her. "Huh? Oh, uh... Yeah." She answered. She didn't think that someone would already try talking to her...

"Well then, nice to meetcha!" Arch said, smiling. "My username is ArchLore! And your name?"

 

Aya leapt back a bit, this person was scary-looking."Ah, yes. I am Aya Parcee." She introduced."You are...?" Aya asked.

"I'm Bosho, one of the many veterans of The World," He said, with a big grin on his face. "If you have any questions, go ahead and ask! Though make it quick. I'm expecting to meet someone here."

"Well then, nice to meetcha!" Arch said, smiling. "My username is ArchLore! And your name?"

 

"I'm Bosho, one of the many veterans of The World," He said, with a big grin on his face. "If you have any questions, go ahead and ask! Though make it quick. I'm expecting to meet someone here."

"Me? I'm Ha- err, I mean... I'm Shiki! Nice to meet you." She smiled in response. "So, uh... Do you know anything about this town, yet? I really don't know anything about the game, I'm hoping I can figure out at least how to go somewhere where I can gain levels..." She asked Arch, hopeful that he'd possibly have an answer.

"Me? I'm Ha- err, I mean... I'm Shiki! Nice to meet you." She smiled in response. "So, uh... Do you know anything about this town, yet? I really don't know anything about the game, I'm hoping I can figure out at least how to go somewhere where I can gain levels..." She asked Arch, hopeful that he'd possibly have an answer.

"Well, back where you logged in, there should've been a sort of machine. From what my friend told me, that's where you go to go to the fields, and fight monsters," Arch said, looking back at Shiki. "But before that, do you mean like Shiki from that one game, 'The World Ends With You'?

Razor walked by and heard that joke. He chuckled a bit, he had played that game. "That joke is so zetta old!"

"Mmmm...!" Seliph got a bit angry trying to figure out how the menu worked, even how to open it. He would just shout "Open!", but nothing would come up. Many people would start laughing and snickering at a noob who can't open the most important function of the game. "...I'll get through it later. I should take a walk and see the resturaunts!" Seliph looked everywhere, seeing eterans and newbies alike, enjoying te game. Finding banks, weapon shops, potion shops, armor shops of every kind. "Wait, but I don't have money. Maybe the town has some quests...Where can I find money..."

Suddenly, a man beside him started talking. "I recommend going back to the Chaos Gate, the machine near the log in area," the man said. He was actually a Human Lizard, one of the many races. "You should probably go back and go into one of the Fields and fight some stuff, get used to the game. Don't go for a quest right away. As for the menu back there, you should probably go into your controller settings before you do anything else. The option should come up if you press 'ESC' on your keyboard. Though if you have a controller, press the button in the middle. That should also bring up the options."

"Well first off," Arch started, looking at Razor, "at least I found someone who gets the reference! Second," He said, looking at Shiki,"no problem! And if you want, you can also get a few more tidbits from a friend of mine. He's a veteran at the game, and told me everything that's necessary for the game!'

 

"...Ah...Thanks...Say! Do you know how to fight? And use magic? And HOW do I know which mgic I can cast?" Seliph reaches out and grab his Basic, beginner rod. "See, I'm still new to this game, and VRMMOs...you don't need to though! I'm sure...I can figure it out...?" Seliph looks back at the main area where he came in."

"...Well first, don't try using magic in a Root Town. You can't, and if you could, it'd be dangerous. Second, bringing up the menu in battle will bring up a list of abilities at your disposal. With you being a Wavemaster of Wood, your first spell should be Juk Rom, plus the healing spell Repth, which is given to everyone at the start of the game."

 

"Then...who are you waiting for?" Aya asked, looking at Bosho."You can tell me thatm right?" She asked.

"Of course!" Bosho said, "He's a new player, too. He told me his username would be 'ArchLore', Twin Blade. All the looks and details of his character, he never told me."

Razor looked at the veteran. He couldn't fathom how long the man had to play the game. "Anyways, magic is kinda complicated, from what I've heard... Good luck!"
