I'm not sure they fully developed hearts before they went back to him. They were definitely starting to, but they may have been incomplete or simply not strong enough to summon their own Keybldes, I mean, they were barely a year old after all and we don't know how long it takes for a full heart to develop.

Well Sora was able to use Ventus' Keyblade and his heart is incomplete and still restoring. Edited by The Rocky Shoe

Yes, but the difference is that Ven had a complete heart at one point so he was able to summon is own while Roxas and Xion were still developing theirs hence why they summon Sora's Keyblade.

It was stated stated that their Keyblades where actually Soras Keyblade existing in multiple places at once, in other words, they never had their own to begin with. Much like Sora himself, the Kindom Key was split so,again like Sora, When Xion and Roxas rejoined with Sora, their Keyblades did the same.I think that, if they were at the point where they had full hearts of their own, their Keyblades would have been different than the Kingdom Key.

True, but Roxas' keyblade did change from the Kingdom Keys. They became Oblivion and Oathkeeper.

Yeah, it cold have been he just switch Keychains though, The only way to be sure is if he summoned something other that they KK first.

Oh, you wanted to know the possibility of Sora having 3 Keyblades, right? Well in KHII FM he can temporarily steal Roxas Keyblades, thereby allowing him to wield 3 at once.

This is somewhat off-topic, but maybe if Roxas has is own complete heart, he wouldn't have been absorbed by Sora. Xion too, Look at Namine, She was basically Roxas' twin yet was able to keep her own form for a bit longer after meeting her other self. Maybe that means her heart was more developed? I mean, if they come back in KH III, which it looks like they will, how will they explain them not re-merging with their other selves again unless that's the case?

Anyway, I think that if they had complete hearts yet still merged with Sora, than yes, He's be able to quad wiled, but if their hearts where not fully developed, than it makes sense to me that he couldn't. It all depends on how well-developed their hearts were when they rejoined him.

Uhhh GUYS?!

Sora already used 3 keyblades! In KH2FM during the Roxas battle if you time your reaction command just right sora will take the oathkeeper and oblivion keyblade from roxas and they will spin around him for a short time. During this Roxas will go into a magic frenzy. Here... let me find a video

Well as I can see, the amount of Keyblades = The amount of hearts. Sora has his own, Ventus, and Roxas' hearts. And if Xion supposedly had made her own heart then it should be 4. Agree or no?

Nope.

Yeah, he can just hold the other two with his oversized feet

Technically Roxas is himself and Xion is an incomplete replica of himself.  He'd be summoning his already summoned keyblade kinda.

I think it would just be overkill.

Maybe this explains why nomura gives him a oversized feet,Nya! :3

Using other wielders keyblades? Say Ven, Aqua, Mickeys, or even Axel's? Good God that would be awesome to see!

GUYS! go to 4:12 of this video

the whole roxas and xion using sora's keyblade is only half true. That's only the case with Roxas. Xion just had a fake replica of a keyblade that belonged to no one. it can't do anything except be a weapon and collect hearts.
