I love Christmas time. Pretty much the entire month of December. I get to hang out with so much of my family because of like 20 birthdays and Christmas and new year's. And also there's no school so thats a bonus

Christmas is kinda ruined for me. I don't know how we're gonna do it without my grandma, and it'll be the first anniversary my grandpa has without her. I think it's actually going to be a rather sucky season for me.

Neutral ebbing towards disliking the holiday.  I can't stand Christmas.  I do get randomly "in the spirit" of it for a bit but ultimately as you get older (and find out Santa isn't real as well) it feels like more of a chore than a holiday, the magic is gone, buying people presents is expensive, my family (mother and sister) actually listen to what I want but my friends (even though I say I want games, and I'm happy with used games, and can send them a list of cheap ones so they don't have to spend a lot) always end up getting me pointless garbage I don't need, want and just takes up space (e.g. mugs (I don't drink tea, hot chocolate or coffee, I use waterbottles all the time so it's just a waste) countless bodylotion&body wash combos, I ended up with 9 bottles of perfume one year, things I don't want or need).

Because you generally know what you're getting the excitement is gone.  I think it only becomes magical again when you have kids and make it magical for them.

Unless you're just spoilt as hell.

I know how you feel, I generally hang with people very different from me(Because Im a fan of variety) which means I'm usually the only gamer and people give me t-shirts n stuff and I just get stuff I give away. I appreciate the thought, though, because I care about them and well their feelings. I always get really excited the days before, partly because Im a huge kid inside and partly because know what I'm getting, well 90% of it anyway(Yes, knowing actually makes me more excited) Admittedly, I'm kinda spoiled, but only because my mum insists on getting me heaps so stuff even though I tell her she doesn't have to. I don't think that's a requirement, it depends on the person, and some people just don't want kids. It's not compulsory or needed with 7 billion people.
