"Show you art improvement" thread

yeee been a while since i've compared my art or seen people compare theirs so i'm gonna do this

What I improved on:

• Stopped trying to achieve perfect realism and stopped trying to copy other styles. It's beyond me and I need to accept my own style (getting much better results)
• Much better anatomy, although it still looks awful mirrored
• I prefer roughness to soft blurred shading. I'm not sure why i just do
• yeehaw i think i figured noses and mouths out
• the fact that people can actually tell it's me is also a +1

 

i guess i got much better at my simple cartoony style too but it hasn't changed enough for me to compare it so

 

yeah i want to see your improvements too!!!! Don't be shy if you don't think much has changed. It's always good to note just how much you've improved to realize how much you still will!
