I don't know, i don't think we should overlook this game until it's all done. It might in end up being so good, that they'll make a console or handheld game with it like they did with Coded. As for Daybreak Town, we might see it in KH3 but in my opinion, i doubt it. I'm getting a feeling that Chi takes place either way before or way after the main storyline. Could you imagine if Daybreak Town is now The World that Never Was, just like how Radiant Garden was changed to Hollow Bastion?

Kingdom Hearts X{Chi} takes place during the keyblade war, wayyyyy back before bbs or kh1. It's not the future, and if you actually play the game, it's quite prevalent that there are a LOT of plot discrepancies. Even though this game takes place during the keyblade war's time, emblem heartless(heartless that would be artificially be created long after the keyblade war was over) appear, the worlds are still separated by a void of space thus contradicting the legend that before and during the keyblade war's time the whole universe was unified.

so other than the hints it has that leads to kh3, i find no reason at all to play this game.

If not Daybreak Town, then some sort of "Town" world. For example, it seems like in all numbered titles a new one is introduced and it serves as the, I guess you can say, hub. For example, KH1 had Traverse Town, KH2 had Twilight Town, so a Daybreak Town seems very likely, or a "Town" world. What would be even more awesome would be having all three "Town" worlds in KH3, Traverse Town, Twilight Town and the new Town in one game would be awesome.
