Exactly, how are we actually going to defeat him?  We can't take his heart away, he'll form another Ansem and Xemnas on our hands......then we can't take away his memory, because we'll also have some Xion-Xehanort type character.  And finally we can't even destroy his past life ( Young Xehanort) because YX already said we can't change events destined to happen, and all that stuff. However, even if we do that it MEANS that Terra, aqua, ventus never suffered, Sora and his gang never  were chosen, and others such as roxas, namine, xion, and Vanitas never existed.  So how do you guys think we can kill Xehanort?

I, nor the darkness will cease to exist. There will always be a way, even in the lightest light. There will still be darkness. And Vise Versa. -Ansem

(Actual Opinion) Who knows? As said above there will always be darkness, and there will always be light. Neither 100% conquers. There is always light, and there is always darkness. That is why the series is continuous. Mabye, just maybe that could be a way to end the saga. Some time-travel crap. I certainly hope not, but who knows?

I only have 3 ideas in my mind on how Xehanort will be finished off of the series.

One is the possibility that he will get "sealed away" into the light never to be seen again.

Two,Kingdom Hearts has some sort of affect on Xehanort which ultimately leads to him killing himself off, cant think too much into this considering I dont know the power that Kingdom Hearts holds

Three,he may never die,his power lingering on to another person waiting to get tempted by darkness leading to a "reincarnation" if you will. Not really in terms of spirit but more of lingering power, leaving said new villain in the next saga to not have Xehanort's original intentions.

We'll end up opening Kingdom Hearts and the light in it will destroy her soul

There's probably a rule you can't become a heartless twice... so just kill him.

The entire spectrum of abilities that the actual Kingdom Hearts possesses haven't really been described in great enough detail thus far in order for me to personally believe in one way over the other in terms of Xehanort's end.  However, I would like to believe that Sora will take the X-blade and stab Xehanort in the chest, but whatevs.

I'm kind of wondering if Xehanort will be sealed away in the Realm of Darkness.  So, in other words, he won't be dead but just locked away and unable to terrorize all.  This would work around the problem of trying to kill someone who's nearly immortal, and it would also open up the possibility of his return in later KH games (if the need should arise).

Darkness of the hearts in all worlds of eternity consumes lights of existence as the chain of memories binds the light in one's heart. Does that answer your question?

Good point. I've always wondered if someone could just keep becoming a heartless/nobody and keep coming back again and again for eternity, since we've never experienced that scenario yet. This NEEDS to be covered in the series at some point.

This. He deserves to be there for all eternity for what he's done to Terra and Aqua...It's his fault Aqua is trapped there, so he should take a large bite of his own medicine. I'd be happiest if this happened. I don't want him to die. I want him to SUFFER.

I think they can defeat him just like usual since Xehanort cannot make another heartless and nobody again after he lost his heart since forming them would take so much risk, which means it would take succeed rather than just failure. So yeah, hope we know how Sora will defeat Xehanort someday...

They could go the pacifist route and have Xehanort make a heel face turn and realize that what he's been doing all this time has been wrong. Then he can sacrifice himself to save the others and die a heroic death. :P

If not that, then he'll probably follow the classic Disney villain route of falling off the top of a tower or something like Gaston, Frollo, Gothel, etc.
