Raziel 248 Posted November 15, 2013 (edited) Both the PS4 and Xbox One don't even support component cables, and you can't buy them separately, either. Also, reports are coming in from new PS4 owners saying that HDMI to component converters don't work either because of sony's newly encrypted signal to prevent copyright...or some BS like that. In other words, join the HDTV master race, join the rest of us in the 21st century, or you're kind of...screwed. But you're going to need at least $850 to do so. A decent 25-30 inch TV costs around 300 bucks, 400 for the PS4, and 60 for the game. Or more if there's a special edition. Tax on that is close to 100 bucks. Good luck. But this only applies to about 10% or less people here, maybe less. Just wanted to warn you before you open your new PS4, KH3, feeling like ":D!!!" Then realize and go "FUUUUUU......" Isaix 924 Posted November 15, 2013 Well I have a TV with HDMI so I guess my body is ready for KH3,but its 2013 and if you can afford a PS4 and KH3 surely you can afford to buy a TV with HDMI,they are not as expensive as they used to. 3 Oli, Cucco and The Rocky Shoe reacted to this

Raziel 248 Posted November 15, 2013 (edited) Why would anyone have anything other than an HDTV at this point?I've done a survey on here a while ago asking people about their HDTVs. A good amount of people said they don't even have one yet. That warranted the importance of this topic. Edited November 15, 2013 by Raziel

Caity 3,946 Posted November 15, 2013 A 32 inch HDTV cost as little as £170 here (and that's going through a high street retailer, not even looking for better deals online), which is less than $300 converted (around $270). Also such a large screen isn't a necessity, it's a desire, smaller ones can be purchased for even less. Also I assumed most people had HDTV's by now since they're the standard, even if it's family tv and not a personal one kept in your room, it's "smart" tvs that are more costly. I tried mine with the N64, didn't work :[. My HDTV works with my N64.
