my first pokemon game that i ever owned was pokemon red. however at the time that i got it i didnt know how to do anything and it was me sorta just playing the first gym leader, not saving and start again. i cant even recall what starter i got. the first pokemon game that i played to completion was pokemon fire red. it was at this time when i actually got into it learned about all the type matchups ect. i remember i got squirtle. so my question is, what pokemon game was my first pokemon game? in red it was just me randomly battling brock and my rival and i wasent old enough to get it. however fire red i actually took seriously and played it to completion. so what was the first?

First I played was my cousin's Blue version for like 3 minutes. The first I bought was Silver, which was my favorite Pokemon game up until Y Version. I still hold a special place for Gen II and Silver version in my heart, though.
