BlackAceZero777 77 Posted November 11, 2013 What do you all think will happen to Ratchet & Clank after Into The Nexus? I think they may start on the PS4 and either go back to the way it was or start a new story arc....

BlackAceZero777 77 Posted November 11, 2013 Or maybe it'll be the end? Doubt it...They may take a break from the series and pick it back up years later but I don't see it coming to an end....

BlackAceZero777 77 Posted November 11, 2013 Jak did. Sly did. Crash did. Jak was going to have a new game but the creators didn't know what to create...That's where The Last of Us came from...Sly was brought back and Crash is on hold...I did the research....They haven't killed Crash but have put him on hold... it might be. ratchet games sadly dont sell as well nowadays Maybe...Just maybe...But I still doubt it since it is a PS exclusive... Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) Jak was going to have a new game but the creators didn't know what to create...That's where The Last of Us came from...Sly was brought back and Crash is on hold...I did the research....They haven't killed Crash but have put him on hold... They said they were going over the brink and the Eco was stabilized and he can transform again. Maybe have him find Precursor technology that he can use to rebuild the world while fighting off Dark Makers that have returned. Or have him go back in time to Pre-Haven and show him (as Mar) building Haven City and fighing off Metal Heads an Lurkers. Or have Gol and Maya return in new, even more hideously mutated forms and go after the catacombs. Samos said that the Dark Eco probably destroyed them. Probably. And the Jak 3 guide had a "Where Are They Now " section that said they may still be alive. Then there's Keira, we could see her actually become a sage, Perhaps even the first Light Eco Sage ever. There were plenty of hints that would lend themselves perfectly to a new game so they obviously had material they could work with. The real reason that they stopped was because of the horrible reception TLF got, which personally I don't understand. It wasn't the best in the series, but I found the new Eco Skills to be very interesting, though I think Shield should have been Light and Teleport should have been Dark, and the game fun enough to warrant multiple play-throughs, which I rarely do. I can't say I've played Sly or Crash, but I know they are made by the same company. i should have realized Sly was back when I saw a PS3 Sly game in Gamestop today, but I just assumed it was the HD collection, which i do not consider being "back" And I haven't seen any confirmation that Jak is over, so he would technically be on "hold" too but it's a safe bet that he won't be back. -----> is a shameless Jak fan. Edit: I see. I read the article I think your talking about. I see that the issue wasn't with lack of story material, but with the creators wanting to reboot it with a more realistic style and more serious tone, but realizing they couldn't do it without disappointing the fans. So they decided to disappoint us by not making one at all instead. Edited November 11, 2013 by Isamu_Kuno 1 BlackAceZero777 reacted to this

And don't worry, I am a proud Jak fan that believes he is Mar...I mean seriously, that's what Jak 3 was really about...Actually, a brand new Sly game was created called: Theives in Time...I played it, it was awesome and is a great start for a new trilogy...Sanzaru are big fans of the series and wanted to do right by it...It's safe to say, they did and will...They also confirmed their will be a Sly 5 and 6...About Crash, I got this information from a guy that is a all time Crash fan and updates people on every rumor and information of Crash Bandicoot...He confirmed that they said the series was on hold and showed where they said it...He also showed where there was a list of new games coming out from Wikipedia and Jak 4 was one of them as well as Sly 5 (Which was already confirmed way before now) and Parappa the Rapper 3...The rumored game of Jak was called: Jak and Daxter A New Legacy...I really feel that they wanted to create The Last of Us, see how well it would go, and THEN create a Jak 4 if it does well enough....This is why I don't feel Ratchet & Clank is going anywhere...The creators may take a break for a minute from it, then come back to it... There were two games that came out for Sly: an HD collection and a brand new game...You probably did see the HD collection...
Kodakliv 558 Posted November 14, 2013 (edited) Honestly I was hoping that the Ratchet and Clank movie coming out in 2015 would patch up the things with the lombaxes and then after that, they could make a brand new ratchet and clank game, with him trying to save the world and all, but from the looks of it, the Ratchet and Clank movie is taking things back to sqaure one Edited November 14, 2013 by Kodakliv
