My Jack Frost Art Attempt ( May Suck )

It's awful, I know: all negative comments will go unanswered, so shut it, haters.

Someone suggested I try my hand at MY vision of Jack, so here. It's called SILVER VEINS, cause of the arm. Hate it, I don't care; I tried.

   

These three pics show it in detail.

Yeah.

I tried: not much people-drawing skills....

Now HOUSES: I drew a 3D Amityville house once that looked professionally done by a poster company.

You shouldn't insult your own work though.  It builds a bad mind set.  You should be looking at it as "my best so far" and continue to improve.  In fact there's even an art challenge where you redo your old work and see how much you've improved

And this was my more recent one:

 

 

Now it's still not perfect but I can see how I've improved

But that's the point, even if it is, you shouldn't criticize your own work, you should look at it at a stepping stone to your greatness

What you're doing now would be better than what you did 2 years ago and what you're doing now would also be worse than what you do in another 2 years.

Everyone hits artistic rough patches. A good chunk of most of my sketchbooks get ripped out because I'm unsatisfied with several of my drawings. The important thing is to practice. That's something I neglect to do a lot.
