Do you think KH3 will introduce a new difficulty mode like KH1 and KH2?

Recommended Posts

Um...what else would there be to add? I mean, Beginner, Standard/Normal, Proud/Hard, and Critical are basically all that you need for a fun time and a good challenge, so I can't imagine any other level of difficulty. The only thing I can think of is a Super-Easy mode or something like that, but that would ridiculous. Maybe a Cinematic or "Special" mode where you have to complete each boss fight or certain parts of the game in the most epic way possible, setting certain criteria or special rules that only a person with OCD could come up with.....but I kind of already do that in my own playthroughs, so that would be useless too.

I mean, KH1FM brought the new Beginner mode and replaced Expert mode with Proud mode. KH2FM brought Critical mode, will KH3 bring something new?

Personally, I want them to introduce an adjustable difficulty setting: you can scale how much damage you receive/give, how quickly you level, when you get abilities, etc. This could potentially add alot of replayability to the game... Cheats would work in a similar fashion.I hope that they do more than just scale the damage output at high difficulty levels, and rather make enemies more brutal and blood thirsty, for instance.

*looks at the games with new modes you sited, sees that they are FM versions* I think if there is going to be a new game mode it will come with the FM version or FM DLC. What ever Square chooses to makes.

How much harder could it possibly get?

As long as you focus on leveling up, Critical is hardly noticeably harder than Proud, in my opinion. It's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it...Not counting lvl 1 runs, it can get a lot harder, trust me.
