The "fainting animations"

I am not trying to sound like one of the members of the "PeTA" organisation, but was including animations of Pokémon in the X and Y versions when they faint necessary? I am well aware that the fainting animations are there to make the battles look more realistic, but I would prefer the animations to have stayed as the Pokémon closing their eyes as they faint. It makes me feel guilty at times; especially in the cases of Sylveon and Ducklett.

Yeah, this bothered me for a while, but it's been ages since I've actually had the animations enabled, so I forgot Hopefully they let you have more choice over which animations you want enabled in the future: i imagine it wouldn't be too hard to do.I, for one, get sick of watching my Aegislash change into its sword form.

Fool. You can disable the animayion if you want, but you're still making a poke'mon faint. If you're going to do something like that, then you should face it.

Trust me, you don't sound like PETA. In fact, fake articles about PETA sound more like PETA than PETA does on its own. Like that broken 3DS story, that was fake, but PETA seems to have such a vendetta against video games that I wouldn't be surprised if a PETA member actually did any of that, especially considering their other antics!

Looks like someone hasn't played any console versions of Pokemon.

 

If you think the fainting animation is big in XY, it's more longer and perhaps more dreadful in the console versions.

Fainting animation were in Pokemon Stadium 12 years ago.

 

Besides,Pokemon faints the same way in the anime so it's not something new

 

it's in every RPG.....when you play Final Fantasy...your party member fall on the ground when they run out of HP

 

it's more of an attention to detail....if they didn't put it in X&Y...people would've complained why they didn't add them

 

Btw....Sonic Chronicles has fainting animation too and it was an RPG

 

 

Paper Mario has fainting animation when Mario or one of his party members faint

 

Even Kingdom Hearts has fainting animation when Donald and Goofy fall....not to mention that When you die you see Sora's body floating with his heart above him

Well, I haven't played X/Y and therefore haven't seen the fainting animations, so I shall hold my opinion of whether or not they're necessary.

Although it's probably better than the Pokemon just sinking into the ground.

Hey everyone, be careful this guy doesn't want to face facts. (besides dreadful part since that opinion)You act as if the fainting animation is the first time GF adds it. I simply stated a fact and opinion. Looks like you take everything offensively, take it easy before a mod shuts this down.

The logic is that you could not face the fact that new Pokémon were being revealed at the time. If you could not live with that, then you should have avoided the thread from the beginning.

Also if you got you're facts straight, it's called X and Y thread, which is about X and Y in general. People were already posting in spoiler tags, so I was safe to still roam the thread. Tell me again who's being immature again?

Spoilers appearing in a game that was only a short time away from revelation was an absolute given. You had little other motive to be looking at the thread.

I am certainly not the one who is being threatening and supercilious.
