It wasn't unreasonable to expect that KHIII come out on the PS3 yet they never announced it, and the team that had worked on the previous KH's was wrapped up in a game that was continuously delayed. KHII's development time doesn't really compare to the development of a PS4/X1 title; I'm no developer, but it's no secret that the costs for making games jumped between the PS2 to PS3 generation severely. That point aside if the game has really been in proper development since 2010 they would be showing trailers regarding story and wider gameplay selections. What they've showed off so far is more of a mechanics demonstration (basic combat and ride summons) to sate fans of the franchise. I'm not saying it can't come out in 2015, or that it won't. Square has spent a lot of time this generation making decisions that have bewildered some people (the multiple FFXIII sequels, the constant portable KH's instead of a true sequel). Going into this generation folks wanted essentially two games from them: KHIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. We didn't get those games, and now they're saying at the start of another generation that they're coming soon! Maybe it will come out that year, but it might also mean that it was rushed, and that is a no-no. Longer wait = More time, More time = More development, More development = Better Game, Better Game = YES!!!! Therefore, Longer wait = YES!!!!! With that said, wouldn't the more appropriate question be "Why do people think that Kingdom Hearts III is going to come out as early as NEXT YEAR!!??" 2014!? REALLY!!?? How stupid do you have to be to believe that!? I mean, the whole idea that Kingdom Hearts III will come out in 2015 because of some rumored plan to release a Kingdom Hearts game every year is ONE THING, but to release it NEXT YEAR!? NO! To be honest i think XV Will come out next year when square re introduced it at this years e3 they are surley gonna gave a us a release date expect new regarding it at jump festa Barley anything has been developed. It seems like they got a jump on 2.5 even before 1.5 was released, so for all we know, they could be pretty far along on the English version by now.
