Same reason why a guy who's never held a gun before in a cop movie can shoot the bad guy when every single trained police officer has the aim of a 3 fingered dipshit and misses him every single time. Because of all the people who help him through his journey, without goofy or donald, he would have fallen a long while ago. He isn't strong by himself.
