A Note From the Author: First attempt at creating an RP. Please bear with me! Any comments, questions, criticisms are welcome. 

UPDATE: Since I'm new at this, I did not make an OOC thread. I'll decide which is gonna be which later, I suppose.

 

 

 

"Let me think... It all started pretty slow, maybe one or two, and then suddenly, whole swaths of sky were just dark. And every night more would be gone."
"The stars were just disappearing out in the sky?"
"Whole worlds! At the time, I didn't really understand, but now..." The old man gestured to the sky, a inky indigo, bordered on all sides by the hunched houses of Traverse Town. There was nothing. No moon or stars. No sign of anything beyond the darkness hanging over their heads. The man with his shoulder length silvery hair kept his bright blue eyes on the starless night, arms folded over his chest. The Darkness pressed so close on them now, it felt like he could reach out and touch it. Maybe he could bring it down, bring some light back to the sky.

All of his preparation had led to this. All of his instincts were telling him to bring the fight to the enemy. And every ounce of his wisdom told him to run and hide. This enemy, this dark , was coming. And coming soon. His silver hair whipped around him as he turned to leave. A black glove snapped up from the shadows and fingers wrapped around his face.

"Too Late."

 

The Keyblade Graveyard had been the site of the last battle of the Second Great Keyblade War. As the Wielders of Light and Darkness clashed, it cracked the Realm Between, and warriors from across the cosmos were summoned to aid the Light in its struggle, bequeathed power by the dormant weapons strewn across the wasteland. Xehanort's final effort to claim Kingdom Hearts, and blanket the world in darkness, was brought to an end at the hand of hundreds of Keyblade Wielders. The man himself, the last of the Darkness to remain, was shackled and cast outside of any known Realm, and the cracks were sealed shut. Peace could finally return.
 

As the forces of the light returned to their own worlds, armed with ancient Keyblades, the Darkness was swept back, pressed off the dormant worlds, filling every sky with stars so bright, they might have been about to come crashing down.

The Destiny Islands finally felt safe again, enough for Sora and Kairi to feel like maybe their lives could get back to normal... Whatever normal might have been anymore. It was a welcome respite, to get to see their friends again, after four long, hard-fought years. Despite the difficulties of saying goodbye to all their friends and allies, they would never be far; only a Glider-ride away. It was all well worth it to Sora and Kairi; a chance to be together. For Riku...

The Darkness would never really be gone. The war could never really be won, merely stalled. In his mind, the peace could not last.
 

Twenty years have passed since Sora, Kairi and Riku's return to the islands. The Worlds since freed have protectors, Keybearers all linked together across the vast sky by their charge to care for their home. Though in this time of peace, with the Worlds clear of Darkness, few of the remaining Wielders put much stock into the need for constant vigilance. Kairi and Sora managed to move on together, and tried to bring their friend with them, but Riku was too focused, certain that the Darkness would return.

But it was not the Darkness they had spent so long fighting. This was new... Whispers, faint, frightened voices reached them first; only a few here and there, followed by more and more every day.Vengeance is coming. The message they were carrying seemed indecipherable, and trivial, as well. Even as time went by, and the whispers turned into shouts and pleas, it became clear that something was coming, but none of the Wielders could find any trace of what it might be. And then the first star went out. Vengeance is coming. The first in twenty-four years. And suddenly, it was like the voices couldn't be stopped, heard across the Realms, with Wielders scrambling to find some way to stop this darkness. Vengeance is coming. After a few nights of single worlds going out, their Keybearers lost to the rest of the network, the First Culling occurred: black streak across the sky, hundreds of worlds snuffed out in an instant, as if they'd been simply scooped out of the black.

The remaining Keyblade Masters left had no choice but to recognize the danger this new Dark power presented, but it was Riku who made the first move. He was the most prepared, having spent the last twenty years fighting, practicing, training, while the others had accepted the peace as endless. But his investigation was cut short, and by the time other Keyblade Wielders had arrived to help, there was nothing left but a messaged etched on a wall.

Vengeance has come.

• Please take the bio seriously and fill it out to the best of your ability. I'd like to see this RP go somewhere!
• Follow the rules for the board. Romance should be PG-13 at the most, no excessive gore, no excessive cursing. Feel free to give me a smack on the wrist if I break the last two.

Where are you from?After moving back to Destiny Islands, Riku remained somewhat trapped in the past, tied down by the darkness remaining inside of him. Sora would sometimes come to train and talk with him, but did less and less as he spent more time with Kairi. Riku thought that the war against light and darkness was futile and true peace could never be found, it was just temporary. As a result, he continued to train for when a new threat would arrive. When the whispers of Vengence came, Riku made the first move and started gathering the remaining keyblade wielders to help combat this threat.

What do you wield in combat?As he aged and trained, Riku's balance with the light and darkness grew stronger and he learned to use more light moves along with his darkness for unique combination attacks. He uses the Oblivion keyblade and is more Attack oriented rather then a Magic user. His many years of training have kept him in great shape and has made him as strong as ever, despite not being in his prime.

Anything else I should know? Nope!

Born in Radiant Garden, though I was taken at a young age to an undisclosed location to train and become a Nocturnal Guardian of Light. Was there for as long as I can remember, so I guess technically, that would be my home world... The old man Yen Sid never told me what the world was called though. Deployed to Kairi when her home world fell, made sure she was safe on Destiny Islands, then got the order to go dormant. Slipped into a stopga pod and woke up later when I was needed again. Sora went away to find Riku, I stayed with her and made sure no bad guy would take advantage of that. I had to become her friend when she was starting to unravel from waiting too long, and kept her occupied for a time. Sora came back with Riku and well, I went back to protecting her at night. Got orders to go dormant once again, and now here I am, awake and ready for action.

 

I've been briefed on the situation. I don't like the sounds of it. I don't know if I should continue my duties, or to take the initiative and go on the offensive. I've sworn an oath to protect Kairi, I don't plan on breaking that oath...

What do you wield in combat? Depends on how screwed the situation is. Typically it's a keyblade and an arrow-rifle. I try to keep a low profile, but can split into three if need be if everything's gone to hell. Pulling up another file record:

 

Command Style: Dancing Defender

Drive Form: Honor Guardian Form (Turns keyblade against himself to create 3 defending entities)

 

The Nobody (Sentinel) [14 keyblades, 2 dual-wield and reversed grip, 12 forming his keyblade wings and floating behind him. 

Command Style: Aegis Wingblade. Specializing in defense]

The Heartless (Striker) [2 keyblades, dual-wielding stance, instinct to protect, not take hearts.
Command Style: Dual Dark Intervention. Specializing in attacks]

Lingering Will (Shielder/Commander) [single keyblade, reverse-grip. Whatever's left
Command Style: Agile Serenity. Specializing in speed and healing defense magic. This is the only entity out of the group who can cast any form of a healing spell: A stationary healing barrier, which is normally used to protect and heal the princess.]

Taken up at a young age by Yen Sid, Zero-Five was selected to become a Nocturnal Guardian of Light because of her strong sense of wanting to help others. Faithful to her duties yet prone to throwing it away if someone is in dire need of help of any sort, "Luna" as she became known as by the others, developed normally during her training and was noted for her powerful healing capabilities. Completing her Mark of Mastery exam at the age of 15, she was ordered to go 'dormant' by the Master for 9 years until another princess was discovered. Still 15 when she awoke, she was then deployed to Princess Jasmine.

 

After Sora came around to fix the world, I decided to find Nocturne. Been with him ever since I found him, and  I met Zion too thanks to him. I'm... k-kinda...with zion. She and Xion t-treat me like their second w-wife. *blushes* Uh... um... oh! W-whenever Nocturne went dormant, I would do the same. But... I-I still manage to balance being with him with being with Zion. She's become special to me in so many ways. I just wish Nocturne knew how I feel about him...

What do you wield in combat? One keyblade, and a lot of smoke bombs. They can be whatever I want depending on what I pump into them. Fire, water, ice, healing spells...

Where are you from? After moving back to Destiny Islands, and reclaiming some semblance of his life, Sora adjusted to every day routine with little trouble, though on occasion, he would sneak off with Riku to talk and to train. His time with Kairi became a more serious affair, in both a figurative and a literal sense. His time was spent less and less with Riku, who was still trapped in the past, worrying over his temptation by the darkness, and moreso with the rest of the inhabitants of the island. By the time the whispers of Vengeance reached his ears, he was among those Keyblade Wielders certain the Darkness would never return in force.

What do you wield in combat? As he aged, his abilities increased to the point where he can always wield two weapons, choosing the Sleeping Lion in his left and the Fenrir in his right as a reminder of those since lost. Plus, they look pretty cool together. Although no longer in his prime, he is still a very formidable fighter.

OOC: I'll give this one up probably pretty easy, just send me a message.

 

Spider: I don't really have anything planned for Ventus/Roxas for the first bit, but he/they become pretty integral later on. Come up with a good bio, I don't think I'd mind him/them early on.

 

Oathkeeper: I took some liberties with what might happen in/after KH3, but I dunno about Xion, given how important her sacrifice was in 358/2. BUT! If you can think of a plausible way Xion reappearing wouldn't affect Sora, lay it on me.

During the war with Xehanort, Sora uses the Key to Return Hearts or w/e it was called to not only return Roxas, but Xion and Namine as well. Thats the short and sweet version to how she returns. The long version is in development, due I. 2015

 

Essentially I always go with the basic explanation grounded in lore and makes sense: Sora's heart, and his powerful love for other people, brought back those who suffered, from Ventus to Xion. If their in his heart, his love, coupled with this KH3 plot device :the Key to Return Hearts", is the only plausible explanation I can give.

I was born in Twilight Town. My destiny, I thought, was to be that bubbly girl who would bring smiles even in a person's darkest hour. I wasn't thinking of Keyblades and wars and love. I was thinking of skateboarding, eating ice cream, hanging out with my older brother.

 

Boy, do the Heartless throw monkey wrenches everywhere.

 

Twilight Town, during the initial conflict with Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, was consumed. My brother and I were not consumed though. No, we ended up seperated, him in Traverse Town, and myself ending up in the brig of a Galactic Alliance, or whatever Gantu called it, prison vessel. But...I was not alone. Not mentally, that is. You see, I gained a second personality - more specifically, my darkness, all of my darkness, was pulled out of my heart and formed it's own existence through an entity I decided to name Sione.

 

Think that was fun? No, what really made me go crazy was the fact I now had this wield blade. Through my mind flowed two words.

 

Oathkeeper's Dawn.

 

To make a long story short, Sione and I managed to work together to escape Gantu, and ended up using what I call a Dawn Gate to find ourselves on a massive vessel. It was like every single sci-fi fantasy I ever had was coalesced into a single massive warship. But that was not all.

Inhabiting this warship was one of the last of a ancient spacefaring race called the Snow. Mostly peaceful, the Snow and their homeworld, Khione, was destroyed by the Heartless a decade ago. I had found one of the last, and most...unusual.

Kelsi.

 

To again gloss over to save time, she became essentially my mother. We traveled around, me and Sione figuring out how to work out Keyblades (Funny right? She got one too. A black and purple color swap of my gold and ice white one, hers named Oathkeeper's Shadow). We learned after awhile how to dual-wield them, and we were pretty good. But you see, I was still lonely. I found Soren, my idiot brother. I found friends in Sarah Aether and Izzy Summers of the Avalon Defense Initiative, a Fleet that was stuck in a decade long siege of their world by Heartless warships. I saw the Siege myself. It was horrible.

 

But you see, when Twilight Town reappeared, by the grace of whatever Deity guided this goofy kid Soren saw in Traverse Town, I found something else.

 

I was eating ice cream at the very tip top of the tower, above that ledge, my awesome gold and purple wings (one was all gold, other all purple) keeping me from falling, when I saw her.

Raven hair.

Blue eyes.

Cute laugh.

 

As alone as I was at times.

 

I fell in love with Xion, of all freaking people.

 

To again save time, She died. I watched helplessly as Roxas fought her, as she gave her life for her friend, and some kid she never knew. Exactly the kind of girl I would fall for.

 

But that wasn't the end of it. The Four Horsemen conflict still came forth, and somehow, by the power of a heart full of love, Xion was back. I found her on the clock tower, and I approached her. It was through her bits and pieces, plus Soren, my brother, filling in the blanks, I found out what happened.

 

Sora's heart, and his powerful love for other people, brought back those who suffered, from Ventus to Xion. Not only did Ansem's data do what it needed, but it became more. With the Key to Return Hearts, Sora brought her back.

Zion didn't wait a moment to snatch her up.

 

Sione was still bitchy, but you see, her was also me. She could feel what I felt, and even her pure darkness couldn't eclipse my pure light. It was a heart full of light, no darkness, that caused such a fast friendship.

And when she realized my feelings, just before a Pink-Haired warrior appeared to us in Radiant Garden, we cough got a room at a nice tavern headed by a Miqo'te.

 

Then, as we were in a full swing of dating, we met another raven-haired blue-eyed bombshell named Luna, a Nocturnal Guardian. Of course we kinda fell for her (both of us, plus Sione) and uh. Same room, same tavern cough.

 

So, as the Horsemen of Famine, of Death, of Strife ended up in a smaller Conflict, the Horseman of War arrived (after already having partaking in fooling around with us embarrassed chuckle we ended up...well...almost getting killed.

 

I was Strife. The strife in me, one heart of darkness, one of light. Xion was Death, for in Death she found a heart, and life. Luna was Famine (or Fury, depends on how you wanna look at it), for she was lacking the love she so craved. And War...the Champion of Etro herself, Lightning. Guardian of Valhalla and a right hottie, she came to help us with the aforemention conflict that took place at The World of Gummis.

 

But first, let's talk about Oriana. Or, as I named before, Sione.

 

After Lightning took us to Valhalla, we fought Caius Ballad for ages (or just ten minutes in real time. Which totally sucked) and in a desperate show of total non-darkness, Sione gave her very heart to imprison Caius in crystal, leaving him to stand before Etro's throne kneeling.

 

Sione about to die, Etro gave her a second chance...and cleansed her very heart. So Sione became Oriana...or Sunrise.

 

Fitting, right? Even more fitting when she died. For Sunrise is as brief as it is beautiful. She died protecting Luna's first love, our friend Cody. She gave her very lifeforce, and in that, returned to me. She made me whole again, but thanks to Etro, made me fully light.

It didn't soften the blow. To me. To the enemies around me.

 

The Four Horsemen Conflict was ended by us Horsemen and our allies in a battle in the streets of Pendragon, capital of the World of Gummis. The massive Heartless known as Belial. But you see, I had full power. I had the loves of my life. Hell, I had my friends. That's all I needed. I could have two sticks and a rock, and have to share the rock, and I'd still have beaten Belial to a pulp.

 

We kinda did beat him to a pulp. It was a long hard battle, but we kicked his ass ten ways from Tuesday. And then sat back and watched Sora and Co. finish the job of defeating Xehanort.

 

But Lightning forsaw the need for help, and thus, the Forward Unto Dawn, Kelsi's massive warship, the massive Dawn Under Heaven, Izzy's flagship, the sleek, small Yggdrasil, Sarah Aether's flagship, and twenty of the most battlescared and infamous warships of Dawn's Ascent, the Third Assault Fleet, hid beneath the waves of Valhalla, waiting. Watching.

Preparing for the next time that the Dawn was needed to rise, and chase away the shadows.

 

But Dawn's Ascent was too late for the opening salvo.

 

But they won't be for the war.

 

Zion's thoughts slowed, and the red lights at the top of her pod went blue.

This was actually drawn for me awhile ago ^.^ Her hair and eyes are a deep gold color, and her attire is mostly black.

What do you wield in combat?

I wield many Keyblades actually. My main one is Forward Unto Dawn, Radiance Unleashed Mode (now standard mode). It is a double-ended Keyblade. It is essentially two oathkeeper keyblades connected at the hilts to form my weapons. Half of it was once shadow, but in Oriana's sacrifice, Shadow became Redemption. Oathkeeper's Redemption is the colors of sunrise, going well is Dawn's whites and golds. My second Keyblade is Daybreak's Bell, the combination of the twin Keyblades Twilight Blaze and Midnight Flare. Both look like a color swapped Oblivion, with Twilight Blaze being reds and oranges while Midnight Flare is these midnight blues and dark reds.

 

My combat style is pretty much brute force. I unleash powerful assault abilites and engage ferociously with my Keyblades, mostly held telekinetically. I am versatile in fighting, with my signature ability Albion Strike, where my golden wings (which allow flight) fire numerable bolts of light. My secondary signature ability is Dual Salvation Raid, where I throw Forward Unto Dawn and Daybreak's Bell at my target when they are covered in light. They unleash the powerful Command Spell Salvation upon impact.

 

Yes, I'm a powerful girl. But with great power comes great drawbacks. I might be able to use my power efficiently due to years of use and training, but I don't have infinite power. No, I will grow weary after prolonged use, especially when I engaged Radiance Unleash - Dawn's Gospel, and use Sunrise, my ultimate ability. Activating Dawn's Gospel, my golden Keyblade Armor of Light, is very hard anyways - always has been. It's my heart's way of ensuring I don't weaponize my very heart by accident and kill myself like a CERTAIN COOKIE CUTTER SUPER SOLDIER.

 

My second and more powerful weakness is Xion. I'll do anything to keep her safe. Even if it means losing my life. Forever.

Anything else I should know? I'm a bubbly girl who'll pump you full of holes if you touch my Xion or make my Luna cry.

 

I also can call upon a cool fleet of many types of ships. Hard to do that when I'm in a Stopga Cryopod in Valhalla, but hey. It's the fact I CAN that counts.
