Meh, not really. Those games were rather balanced in terms of difficulty. If, for some reason, they made the hardest modes as the only way to play those games though, then maybe it would be the most difficult game, but that's not going to happen. What Kingdom Hearts II.5 WILL make history for is the FUNNEST Kingdom Hearts COMPILATION COLLECTION EVER!!!

Unless you're trying to actively make them difficult with some sort of crazy lv 1 challenge or something, KHII and KHBBS are really easy, and definitely the easiest games in the series. Also, I personally think that lv 1 challenges sound really dumb and boring... I haven't tried one, and I don't know if I will, I don't want to have to spend ages in one boss fight because I'm only level 1 and barely hurt it, it sounds way too repetitive. However, the secret bosses for KHIIFM and KHBBS all seem like they'll be decent challenges (Although KHII Sephiroth was a pushover compared to KHI Sephiroth, the FM bosses look like they'll make up for that though.)

BBS is easy as hell after level 40 even on critical. The only thing hard about it is MF and No Heart. Eraqus' Armor is manageable. KH2 was ridiculously easy on proud.. I hope they tone down the drive forms for 2.5 so you can't massacre enemies with little to no effort.

I think that depends, the only thing I used my drive forms for was because I wanted the growth abilities on max and I didn't use a drive form in a boss battle even once and on normal enemies either, aside from level up sessions. The drive forms are not really what makes it easy.

So I have to agree, KH2 was pretty easy, on proud mode too. I don't know about KH2FM though, I'll play it the first time when I get the Remix. Concerning BBS, it was very easy too, on proud (didn't try critical yet). The only really hard things for me are the two secret bosses and I believe they are they reason people call it a hard game, while they are really only a teeny small part of the game itself.

But nontheless, I'm more hyped for the 2.5 Remix than I am for the 1.5 Remix (which I still have to be able to play), simply because it includes two of my most favorite games and their Final Mixes at that, have awesome additions as well and they will be HD, BBS on a big screen sounds awesome to me. So unlike 2.5, 1.5 has not so many things I really look forward to. It's in HD, okay, but the biggest two reasons are Unknown (I want to fight him so badly it hurts) and to play Re:CoM for the first time. And that's it. And well the Days cutscenes are a nice addition, maybe to sit back and relax after playing your fingers numb. Yeah that sounds nice.

So long story short, I dunno whether it will write history, but it will definitely be the best the KH series has to offer until KH3, since how can single BBS or KH2 compare to a combination of both games' final mixes? The other games aren't even near to be able to be compared.

I dont think it will be too difficult.

KH2 and BBS was pretty easy to beat on proud/critical mode.

Birth by Sleep isn't a hard game, in my opinion.

it isnt as hard as you may think, i beat kh2fm on lvl 1 critical :P, I play A LOT lol

kh2 is pretty easy...

you guys are kind of missing the point, we are conditioned KH players and will do anything for it, any challenge will be easy to us or something. i'm doing a run in bbsfm to get the ultima weapon before beating any of the worlds after the 1st one(i'm arena level 28), it's really easy. i'm talking about 100%ers and blind playthough for people other than us and hardcore KH players. Terra and the stuff i said up there will be a challenge for casual players, because i know blind players too KH2FM will jump in the hole to the cavern of remembrance when it first opens and die. i will be watching LPs of people playing the game and i will die of laughter watching them do this.

You sadistic bastard....

...Actually, I'd probably laugh too! xD

While I consider myself a semi-hardcore fan (basically about as hardcore as a casual gamer can get without being a hardcore gamer), I'm not exactly a completionist, mostly because most of that stuff is too hard. I mean, I'll get all the secret bosses, enemies, reports, puzzle pieces, abilities, etc. But I won't go for the more tedious stuff like the Gummi Missions or least of all a Lv 1 challenge. You'd have to have way too much time on your hands to put up with that.

But while I'm not a completionist, I do have my own "special" way of playing the games. Rather than just fighting the bosses to win, I try to fight the bosses in the most "cinematic" way possible. This means that I try to make things as epic as possible, trying all of the interactive options available during the battle, letting the boss display all of his moves, using the most appropriate moves on them (like Blizzard on Hades or Light based attacks on Final Vanitas), using all available reaction commands, using special abilities, use all of my moves, scenario specific stuff, and then finishing the battle with an epic and flashy attack, which may either mean the end of a combo, a special move, a reaction command, or whatever seems appropriate at the time. Basically, my goal is to make the fight as flashy as possible, the way I would want it if the game was just a movie and I would have to experience the fight as a scene. I would want every moment of that battle to feel like an action movie.

So, my gameplays are challenging enough already, because while that is fun for me to do, it's not what somebody concerned with beating the game would probably want to do. I swear, if I did LPs, I would get so many angry comments. "Oh my F***ing God, what the hell does he think he's doing!?" I can just see it now.

Well, now, it depends. Just because someone's beaten a hard Nintendo game doesn't necessarily translate to a modern JRPG. People are good at different things.

Have you guys EVEN REALLY PLAYED KH2FM ON CRITICAL? It makes the game so much easier and is more of a chellenge then the original. The data fights plus Terra look SOOOOOOOOO HARD and everyone who's played it will agree with me. As for BBS, if you have strong commands it'll probably be really easy.

Nothing compared to Megaman 7 Final boss

Or Yellow Devil in Megaman 1(without the pause glitch)

Yes it firetrucking does

There's barely any skill needed in KH...the games are made with kids in mind

You need to be ready at all freaking times in Lost Levels...the smallest mistake and you lose a life..and there's bottomless pits all over the place, bullet bills flying from out of nowhere, lakitus throwing spikes at you etc.

In Kingdom Hearts all you have to do is just beat enemies and throw Firaga,Blizzaga,Reflega,Reaction Commands...rinse and repeat...there's no danger of losing a life...if you want to refill your energy you just go back to the save spot...can't get a Mushroom anywhere you want to in Lost Levels when you desparately need one
