PS3 Game Recommendations?

So I gotten a PS3 for my birthday at last, and only got Battlefield 3 (which is great), but there are other good games out there.

 

Now, besides saying "Kingdom hearts 1.5" (which I will get at Black Friday for it is leaked at $20 new), and "Lightning Returns" (which I preordered) and "FF10 HD" (Which I preordered as well), what games would you recommend?

 

I'm pretty much open to racing, Shooters (anything but CoD), RPG's, Action/Adventure.

 

Later on next month, I'm gonna pick up some cans (for those who are wondering what "cans" is, it's headphones) to get better exp. and talk to people.

Infamous 2, Uncharted 2/3, God of War 3, The Last of Us for western games. Ni No Kuni, Demon's Souls, Tales of Xillia for more Japanese games. If you're interested in multiplat games as well... Then, well, that's another story all together...

I'm interested in multiplat as well. Just don't recommend AC1-AC Revelations cause I played all through Xbox and I wanna play AC3 and up with PS3.

Tales Any HD version of a PS2 game you really loved. Shadow of the Colossus and Jak are two examples. given what you like, the Jak series is a good choice. It's an Action/Adventure Platformer with some TPS elements. I don't have a PS3, but these games all look interesting:

 

Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMix (You didn't say anything about 2.5 )

Sly Cooper HD Collection (Played all three on PS2 and can HIGHLY recommend them, they're by far my favorite Sony-exclusive games)

Sly Cooper 4: Thieves in Time (Played the demo, it was as fun as the first 3)

Tales of Xillia (Looks like a good RPG)

Portal 2 (Unless you're like me and would rather play first person games on PC, get it on PS3)

The Orange Box (Contains Half Life 2 with both Episodes, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. Same as above if you prefer PC. Half Life and Portal might be the only ones worth playing since the console TF2 supposedly isn't all that great, and the PS3 port is buggy from what I've heard, but worth checking into more since I barely read much about it)

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3: Full Burst (2 also looks good)

okay, I played and beated both batman games, but I will get Origins for PS3 when price goes down. I'm not sure about Bioshock 1 or 2, but infinite caught my eye. I keep hearing Uncharted, what's it about?

 

I know The Last of Us is excellent, but like I said, I wait for price to go down. Infamous seems interesting, Tomb Raider I will check out. I obviously will get AC3 and forward. I'm not sure about Metal Gear cause they got an exclusive game coming out for XBONE.

I hear Tales is supposed to be good, I already played XIII and probably halfway through XIII-2 through Xbox, but should I get the ps3 version of XIII-2? is the frame rate better on PS3 than Xbox?

 

With the gamestop Black Friday leak I plan on getting PS+ for $30.

2. 1-3 can't be played as demos, but from what I got from the demo for 4, the gameplay is mostly the same. The main difference is that in the first, you only play as Sly, and the gameplay is more like a combination of Crash Bandicoot and a stealth game. Two, three, and four seem very similar in terms of gameplay.

3. Then you should go for the PS3 version, I just brought it up out of personal preference. All that really changes is the controls from what I've seen, it's exactly the same otherwise. If you're into puzzle games with a lot of witty dialogue and dark humor, I'd say go for it!

4. Alright. I know there was a demo for UNS3 up before, no clue if they still have it up now.

Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite, God of War series, Final Fantasy XIII/XIII-2, The Last of Us, Portal 2, Journey. The last three I listed are about as close to perfection as you can get with video games.

I gotten XIII and XIII-2 for Xbox, and yet to finish XIII-2, any difference between ps3 and XBox version?

Yes, the ps3 version has better graphics, only one disk for the game and it has better loading times TBH.

 

I wouldnt get 1 since the game is kinda boring TBH. I dont like it, but you might though, so you should check it out.
