Caity 3,946 Posted October 19, 2013 I'm "tech savvy". Lol. And all the "tech savvy" people I know also think Windows 8 is better. You can access all features fine, just get used to it. I view file extensions easily. RAM doesn't go down. Lol. Windows 8 is far more secure than Windows 7. I'm tech savvy and think Windows 8 is grand, if you are using a gesture or touch responsive input device. It was primarily developed with their tablets in mind, so the features make sense on them, though it really was a pointless gimmick to introduce on desktops. Still usable, but I think they should have make a specific desktop Win8 separate from the touch screen Win8. 3 Sora96, OneWingedFangirl and EternalReckoning reacted to this

Shard the Gentleman 2,891 Posted October 19, 2013 ...Vista v.vWIndows 8 kinda annoys me because when I have a button that I have to push in the corner, that start menu thing will show up instead. (My brother has 8)
Setrex 1,031 Posted October 19, 2013 Windows 7 and I have no intention on upgrading to 8 regardless if they are like, "buuuuuuuuuuuuuut 8.1 is better now". I personally think Windows 7 is the perfect OS and I have no reason to change to something I don't like using.
advfox 698 Posted October 19, 2013 I use both Windows 7 and Windows 8 everyday on the same PC.

Also, your "lol"'s make you seem like your insulting me. Almost like your laughing at my intellect. So, I'm done with this.

AntonioKHT 449 Posted October 19, 2013 This poll is probably the one who created most problems I use Windows 7 and it's great. I don't know much about 8, but I've been told it's great! Just gonna find out when I get a new computer, and no clue when that's gonna happen.

Shulk 8,623 Posted October 19, 2013 Windows 7. Win 8 sucks, Mac sucks, Linux looks okay. Windows 7 is by far the best!

DragonMaster 1,166 Posted October 20, 2013 Windows 8. I made a few modifications* to it, and it feels pretty much the same as Windows 7 now. There are a few things that still keep me from preferring it over Windows 7, but its by no means as bad as I thought it would be. *Bypass lock screen, don't need to enter password upon wake up, automatically start on the desktop, and transparent taskbar.
