Posted October 11, 201312 yr Does the OathKeeper and Oblivion symbolize Light and Darkness? I am writing a sorta FanFiction about Kingdom Hearts with me as the Protagonist and I need to know since I will be using two Keyblades and these will be my Keyblades.
October 11, 201312 yr I have no idea how to answer the first one.No, I don't believe the two keyblades symbolize darkness and light. They mostly symbolize the people they basically belong to.For example, the "Oathkeeper" symbolizes Roxas' promise to fight for his friends."Oblivion" symbolizes what becomes of Xion,i.e lost to oblivion/forgotten. Therefore the keyblade Oblivion symbolizes Xion's story while the Oathkeeper symbolizes Roxas' promise
October 11, 201312 yr Uh, yes they do... I have no idea how to answer the first one.No, I don't believe the two keyblades symbolize darkness and light. Therefore the keyblade Oblivion symbolizes Xion's story while the Oathkeeper symbolizes Roxas' promise Partially, but remember that they're originally Sora's blades; Oathkeeper's teeth are the kanji for light (光) and represent Kairi (heart of pure light, and you get the keychain from her), Oblivion's teeth are the kanji for darkness (闇) and represent Riku (major darkness user, keychain found near the battle arena [KH1]/received after Sora meets him again [KH2]).
