whats the big deal about no marvel and star wars in kingdom hearts 3?

Honestly I think star wars would be EPIC!!!! and I hate star wars but really come on if they can make it work who cares... now there's marvel I don't care if it's in kh3 or not and I can't really see it be in kh3 but if its done right idc and Pixar would just be epicness!!!!! Stop with the hate it's annoying I have no problem with these worlds being in kingdom hearts 3 and stop with well in the next saga I would be fine with it that's makes no sense come on people. It's because there is room for better, more deserving worlds. The Star Wars story would clash with the KH story I think since both take place in a universe where different worlds can be traveled too. And Marvel just seems too realistic for me, unless if they made it comic book style like they did with Winnie the Pooh.

Fool. You're pretty much telling us to stop voicing our opinions, which you have just done. I fell in love with Kingdom Hearts partly because of the magical blend of Disney created (not owned) and Final Fantasy worlds. That's what I play for, and I don't need or want something foreign when playing a Kingdom Hearts game. I want something new, but with enough familiarity to keep calling it Kingdom Hearts.

I don't think Star Wars would work: The fact that the Galactic Empire knows of other worlds and visiting them frequently kinda ruins the whole Kingdom Hearts theme, about the worlds being separate. Also, the empire overtakes the entire galaxy, once again creating a continuity error in Kingdom Hearts.Marvel wouldn't feel very KH like. Unless they did it like Winnie the Pooh style, it wouldn't really work well.

I just don't see it working... To me it feels that they don't match well the Kingdom Hearts series, so it's not a good idea to use them. I don't mind seeing them in KH3 though, but as long as they make it worth! So, I would personally avoid using these other franchises, because it's dangerous to make a good plot out of it (though it is possible)

While yes, Marvel might work, Kingdom Hearts always seemed to be just pure Disney and pure Square. I like it that way. You get the recognizable Disney characters we all know and love, while mashed up with the darker Final Fantasy. Star Wars...isn't pure Disney. It's Lucas Arts' creation that has been given to Disney. Same with Marvel. I'd rather have pure Disney stuff like Lion King or Nightmare Before Christmas, instead of stuff that would really clash with the whole theme of Kingdom Hearts.

Star Wars and Marvel are complete universes that are very expansive and to create a KH world based off one aspect of them would be tricky.  Let's hope we get some Pixar worlds in KH3 since even that hasn't been accomplished yet

There are so many Disney worlds that they can still do before outsourcing.

 

Marvel is to large and there's no way it would be based off the comics since Disney only seems to care about using movies in KH and expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They don't really seem concerned with Marvel Comics

 

Star Wars is just too similar with Light, Darkness, and inter-world travel. Plus BbS was basically Episode III in KH form. And we'd have to go there 3 times to complete a single storyline. People already complain about Agrabah and Olympus Coliseum being in to manny games, How do you think they'd feel about going back to that same world 3-9 times? There may me many landscapes on the various planets, but most of the first two trilogies take place on space stations so that's what KH would focus on and I doubt the new trilogy will be any different.

 

And again no one mentions Indiana Jones which is also part of LucasFilm and therefor fair game for KH. Not crazy about that either, but I think the smaller, unconnected stories of the movies would be easier to put in KH than Marvel or SW.I don't think Disney is going to let Nomura use Marvel or LucasFilm anytime soon. Given that the acquisition was so recent, they'll want to play with their new toys for a while before sharing them. Maybe if KH is still around in another 10 years they'll consider it.

I'd love Pixar, but there's a very good reason why only until the next saga. It would make much more sense for them to finish the first saga the way they started, then start with something new in a new saga.

 

And it'd be easier to explain why they were introduced in the first place, as well.

 

Right now their only focus is to protect the princesses and take down Xehanort.
