Raziel 248 Posted September 22, 2013 So I was traveling to Traverse Town, and in the save point selection of TT where it shows the world, I saw Lady and the Tramp on the fountain. I never noticed that before for some reason. That's the only thing in the series that acknowledges that movie in the whole series. It's pretty weird that it was put there at all... Maybe it's going to be a world in KH3? : o There were Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Roxas plushies you could put with your avatar in Re:Coded. And they were portrayed as dogs. I've always found that really weird. 1 DarylTrect reacted to this
MyDixieRect 2,061 Posted September 22, 2013 I don't think it's weird it was put there. Lady and the Tramp is a Disney production. Disney Product in Disney Game = ton of sense 1 Reyn reacted to this

Disney Product in Disney Game = ton of sense I never said it didn't make sense. It's just weird that it's there without any other acknowledgement to it whatsoever. And that's the only Disney related thing like that in the entire series. There isn't anything else of the sort. keystrike 145 Posted September 22, 2013 (edited) For what its worth it is just the "symbol" of the third district from the world map. Its in the corner of the third district where joshua jumped down from when we first met him. Edited September 22, 2013 by keystrike

JTD95 1,107 Posted September 22, 2013 (edited) That's what I love about Traverse Town. It had so many references. It really felt like a crossover world. It had Louie, Huey, and Dewey, 100 Dalmatians, a Lady and the Tramp fountain, a Mad Hatter sign, a tiny picture of A Bald Mountain in one of the hotel rooms, Merlin, the Fairy Godmother, and characters from Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII. And then in KH3D it also had characters from TWEWY and some graffiti from the game too, and Julius. Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted September 23, 2013 Seriously? I noticed that when I first played the game 8 years ago. It's not that hard to notice. And I think they just did it as an homage, I seriously doubt it's going to be a world in Kingdom Hearts 3. It wasn't really much of an action heavy movie from what I remember. RoxSox 3,593 Posted September 23, 2013 Yes, because an easter egg from 11 years ago is hinting at a world for KH3. 5 LeYenrz, Oli, Neku Sakuraba and 2 others reacted to this
xxClouDxxmoon 901 Posted September 23, 2013 Lol the first time I ever played through KH I honestly never noticed it. Although I was playing on a tiny littlt TV so it would of been hard unless I actually went up and just stared at it.

You can go up to it in KH: it's light funny, so you have to look close to see the design on it.
Raziel 248 Posted September 24, 2013 I noticed that when I first played KH. Thought everyone else did too. :l lol I might have as well, but keep in mind that the last time I seriously played KH1 was before KH2 came out because my disc stopped working. That's a really, really long time.
Raziel 248 Posted September 24, 2013 Yes, because an easter egg from 11 years ago is hinting at a world for KH3. lol that's not what I meant. I meant since they put it in there, they acknowledged it, so it could possibly be a world in KH3. Didn't mean it was literally a hint. But since they acknowledged it, it's very possible to be a choice for a world. Keep in mind that they don't have many Disney movies to pick from anymore. What's left of the Good choices are Pocahontas, Atlantis, Black Cauldron, Lady and the Tramp, Brother Bear, Lilo and Stitch, Fox and the Hound, Jungle Book, Treasure Planet, and The Emperor's New Groove. I'm pretty sure they're going to wait until the next saga to add Pixar, if they even ever do so. It's a pretty high chance in my opinion.

But that's not the point.. While I'll admit you have a point there, my point is that it wasn't much more than a love story. The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast were love stories too, but they still had a great deal of action and conflict. Whinnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland didn't have any "action" in the Michael Bay sense of the word, but they were still about exploring a strange and wonderful environment (I wouldn't have that much fun in any ordinary forest of a hundred acres). They got in because of those features. While it has been a long LONG time since I've seen the first movie, I don't particularly remember any EVIL villain getting in the way of both Lady and Tramp, all I remember are those two creepy cats that just intimidate her, a pound, a romantic spaghetti dinner, and a happy ending. But I have seen the sequel, Scamp's Adventure, or something like that. I think there was a little more conflict than just the division of two social classes in that one. But again, I haven't seen this movie in a long time, so who knows, maybe it will. They've gotten away with less, such as not explaining how Ursula came back in KH2, or using The Three Musketeers (I liked the movie, but it seemed like an odd and random choice, not that I'm complaining). it appeared in Dream Drop Distance buddy If we're playing that game, then let me point out that you left out Re:Chain of Memories, pal. The Third District was in a cutscene.
