As for manga not being canon: Larxene's fascination with The Marqis de Sade should be canon due to utter weirdness. I'm talking about in DDD. Not in BBS before he was defeated . It's just that it's not canon like previously said . Although Manga and Novels do try to follow the plot they sometimes add things that contradict canon fact or add just extra info on things that happened that never actually "canonically happened".
