『R』 570 Posted September 16, 2013  Ok so what would you react to a KH3 FM.....(Like that would be cool! Having more bosses like KHFM would be epic)
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted September 16, 2013 IDK. I haven't liked the fact that FM never made it out of JP until 1.5, but the PS4 is region free.I'd rather they add FM content as DLC rather than an updated version of the whole game. 2 Reyn and bit reacted to this

Nweintraub 630 Posted September 16, 2013 (edited) I'd scream! Sort of like...the Deuueaugh from SpongeBob, except the scream would sound like the Hugarian version of the scream. Edited September 16, 2013 by Nweintraub

xxClouDxxmoon 901 Posted September 16, 2013 I think they should just add a whole heap of secret bosses to begin with. 3 Reyn, Ultimus Grid and Toby reacted to this
Vortex_Nite 118 Posted September 16, 2013 i would freak out knowing it might be a whole new game but then realize that it might just be DLC since that shit exist now lol
jtshiro 14 Posted September 16, 2013 I agree that it will most likely DLC, what I'd like to see is the same type of expansion that KH2 FM had (additional bosses, dungeons, puzzles) which still stands as my favorite Kingdom Hearts game
Reyn 1,755 Posted September 16, 2013 If an FM is made, IT HAS TO BE DLC SO PEOPLE OUT OF JAPAN CAN GET IT. Or if they decide to make it a physical copy BRING THE DAMN GAME TO U.S. PEOPLE WOULD firetruckING BUY IT AND IT WOULD MAKE A PROFIT.
Toby 50 Posted September 16, 2013 Before I get to the part with Final Mix, I just want to say to DLC... No, no, PLEASE don't. Do not let KH get ruined by stupid DLCs. I'm sick of additional content having to be bought. There should either be patches/updates or all the content should be in the game in the first place. Come on, I cannot be the only one who thinks this! Also, if they do get Final Mix before us again, I wouldn't really mind but it would be nice if it was released here too. 3 DAMN, Ultimus Grid and SkullMajora reacted to this
DAMN 80 Posted September 16, 2013 No to Final Mix...Full Game this time around please I agree that it will most likely DLC, what I'd like to see is the same type of expansion that KH2 FM had (additional bosses, dungeons, puzzles) which still stands as my favorite Kingdom Hearts game That wasn't a firetrucking extension...those bosses were there from the start they just decided to not put them in the first version so they make you buy Final Mix you naive fool
Emily Murphy 28 Posted September 16, 2013 I think KH3FM is very likely. But if they do it I demand that it comes out outside Japan.

You are throwing out a conspiracy theory that has no proof since almost none of the said material was present in the original game's disc (which if you did your research has dropped worlds and character models on it but no data relating to it's FM). It is well established they spent several additional months after the initial version's release adding content and tweaking things thanks to fan feedback. It's not conspiracy theory every company does the same. They had that content ready from the start and they could have put it all in the first version but they saved some of it so they can make the customers buy the same game twice...anyone who doesn't know this is either stupid or ignorant...FACT I just hope Nomura gets all his future ideas together and put it in KH3 so there wont be a need for FM. It's not about the need for FM...it's about the need for Money...so I wouldn't be surprised if there was an FM released cuz we keep buying them

Am I saying it's impossible that they held it back? No, but I have not read anything suggesting that they specifically held back content and there is no data on the original versions discs (which is ultimately where people found out that companies were charging for content that was already on the disc to begin with). They did held it back...the Final Mixes came out way too soon KHFM came out in December 2002 whereas the regular release came out in March 2002 in Japan for example...they gave it like 9 months on the market before releasing the Final Mix Version And the Extra Content isn't just some extra stuff...it links to the story...there is no friggin way that this wasn't planned cuz Nomura always plans out his Stories...so it was planned from the beginning to release an incomplete game and then make us buy(Well originally only in Japan) the same game for a 2nd time to have the Complete Version

I'm not saying that the Final Mixes weren't planned (at least since KH1FM), I'm saying they didn't actively stash 100 percent finished content away for a year. In the end I think the development team never stopped working on the game after the original version's release.

Well that's the same shit as having the content ready and not releasing it They could have easily decided to not release it till they complete the game with all the stuff and release that as the definitive version of Kingdom Hearts everywhere around the world...but they didn't So it's really basically the same thing tbh

Another scenario to think about with extending development time is that both KH2 and BBS were released at the end of console generations in their original versions, adding a year to that could have been pretty bad for SE (especially for BBS considering SE didn't even bring FF Type-0 west a year later because the PSP market fell off a cliff in particular)
Kodakliv 558 Posted September 17, 2013 If they decided to release a Final Mix for KH3 then couldn't they make the new content into DLC? I mean it couldn't be that hard you know?

I mean it couldn't be that hard you know? It couldn't be hard to decide not to rip of consumers too right? right?

If you feel that the FMs are a ripoff that's your problem but buying a the same title with a ton of new stuff (you can even transfer save data in BBS to BBSFM which then effectively serves as an expansion) is mostly worth it or you can just wait a year to buy the "complete" version in your eyes, that said I'm done debating the merits of releasing two versions, it's been fun debating about it though
