"Strange things have been happening lately sis, I-I think I need to get out of here... People... they are disappearing... everyone's going insane! I can't sleep at night sis... I just.... when you get this message call m- huh? what was that? Hello...? Hell-" The low tone of the land line rang out into an empty room. Something was definatly going on in Willow Creek, something that couldn't be explained by the everyday, something that can only come out of nightmares.

 

This is a 1x1 between Corrupted keyblade and myself while you are welcome to read please do not post on this thread.

Bio: Chaise was often bullied for being albino and when she turned 18 she finally had enough. She decided to move out of the city finding a small town called Willow Creek. It seemed perfect to her right by her new school, a fresh start. Little did she know she was about to get dragged into something much bigger than she ever thought.

Appearance: 

Bio: Jayce was an easy target.  He was tall, scrawny, and had glasses.   He wasn't ugly but he was just weak and geeky.   Girls avoided him and guys tortured him.  Jayce's hazing started to get worse and worse.  It'd start out where he'd be pelted with footballs and pencils in class but some guys decided to go even farther.  They gave Jayce the best Senior year a guy like him could ask for.  They became Jayce's friend, even payed a girl into being Jayce's girlfriend.  Jayce's biggest mistake was his "girlfriend"  taking him out to the woods so they could "take the big step."  Sadly he was human and male.  He wanted it.  When he got int he woods they both stripped down to their underwear int he middle of the woods when truck headlights turned on.  Then he saw the guys he called friends come up and steal his clothes while the whole football team came out, held him down and begin beating him for no reason.  

That night they left Jayce there bruised and a bloody mess.  Jayce was finally strong enough to get up after 3 hours.  A loud howl rung in his ears and a shadow quickly passed over Jayce leaving him with a sharp pain in his side.   He let out a scream and passed out when he felt the blood pouring out.  Jayce woke up 1 whole week later in the hospital realizing he didn't need his glasses anymore.  He looked at his chest and he didn't have a mark.   He didn't feel broken ribs like he remembered.  He was fully healed.  

Jayce got to school the next day and saw his locker was full of pictures of him in his underwear and they were posted all over school. Just him laying in the dirt beaten and broken.  Jayce was so angry at that point.  He wanted to tear apart the whole football team but he decided against it.  Jayce suffered through the last month of school to Graduation.  He made sure to go far away.  So he went to his big town of Little Rock, Arkansas, and moved all the way to Willow Creek, North Dakota.

Chaise looked around her small dorm room, since the university was so tiny everyone got their own room. She appreciated that, she wasn't sure if she would have been able to stand a roommate. She picked up her book bag and walked out of her room locking the door behind herself. "Lets see...." Chaise took a peak at her schedule, wouldn't want to walk into the wrong class on the first day. "Mythology...? I dont remember signing up for that... oh well..." She shrugged it off and stuffed it into her pocket before heading out of the old but well kept dorm building. She kept her head low as she quickly made her way to class. Years of trying to hide had made her shy and reclusive, but she hoped this new place would help her get over that. So far everyone had been nice and helpful. Her thoughts drifted off as she reached her classroom door, Chaise took in a deep breath and opened it. She was glad to see it was a fairly small class with only about 20 people. Chaise took a seat off to the side so not to be in the way of anyone.

Jayce woke up in the woods shirtless with snow around him.  Jayce was so much more fit since he first got bitten.  Something about being this new "person" had made him healthier and made him more confident.  He felt more attractive and able to accomplish more.  Jayce then realized he was late to class.  He pulled out his phone and pulled up his schedule online.  He found out where his class was and he sprinted towards his dorm.  He looked around and knew his class was on the second floor.  He could see the window which was still open from last night.  Jayce made sure the coast was clear and he jumped into his room.   He quickly sprayed some body spray on himself then threw a nice shirt on and grabbed his back pack.  He then ran through the halls and got to his class 10 minutes late.  He ran into class and the Professor just sighed and rolled his eyes not even starting class yet.

 

Jayce then looked for an open seat and found one next to the albino girl who everyone seemed to sit away from.  Jayce didn't care.  He sat next to her and took a long glance at her bright red eyes.  He then looked away and looked at the teacher.

Chaise looked at the guy who sat next to her surprised. When she realized he was staring at her she quickly looked down at her notebook. "Why does everyone stare...." She wondered silently before the professor began.

"Alright everyone quiet down" He said before turning to the untouched black board. On it, he wrote the world supernatural. "Can anyone define that word for me?"

Chaise looked around making sure no one else would raise their hand before putting hers up.

"Yes?"

"Its something that can't be explained by science, or common knowledge." Chaise said she glanced over at a kid who snorted a little trying to hide his laughing at the irony of what she said. He leaned over to another classmate,

"she just defined herself!"

Chaise winced and looked down at her notebook again.

Jayce could feel himself lowly growling at the boy but he then stopped and turned to him.  "Watch it.  You don't have to be an a**"I said turning my attention back to the board.  The boy then felt threatened and walked over to Jayce.  

 

"How bout you mind you're own business, I wasn't talking to you."  The boy said looking back to see if he had the attention he wanted from his peers. Jayce just rolled his eyes and didn't answer.  But the boy wasn't happy about that.  He put his hand on Jayce's shoulder and said "lets take this outside"  Jayce then stood up and toward over the boy.  "Just sit down and shut up" Jayce replied as he caught the boys fist after trying to hit Jayce.  Jayce then spun the kid around on his stomach with his arm in a chicken wing pinning him down.  Jayce then pushed him knocking over  a few of the tables.  Jayce then sat down and the teacher got angry."No!  You will not cause so much violence and just sit down!  Get out!"  The teacher yelled at Jayce.  Jayce rolled his eyes and walked out of class.

Chaise watched the guy walk out of class dumb founded, "Why would he do that...?" She wondered and watched a couple classmates help up the other boy. She looked over at the teacher who resumed his lesson. After class got out Chaise looked at her schedule, her next class wasn't until later int he afternoon. "Hmmm maybe i could look around the town a little..." Chaise picked up her things and walked out of class,after dropping off her things at her dorm she wandered around the campus amazed at all the trees that surrounded the area. "Its not like this at all in the city, I wonder why no one comes outside...". The campus and nearby town seemed to be completely empty of people.

Jayce was in town at the local creepy book store looking up different lore's about werewolves and Lycan's there was something in the air of the store, some sort of essence that made him weak and feel sick.  He took the books up to the counter and paid for them while being looked over at by the lady at the counter.  Jayce then walked out of the store and felt better.  He looked over his books then slipped them into his back pack.  He then looked around and saw the foggy, cold, empty town he wasn't sure if he liked the quiet.

Chaise wandered around looking at the small shops, nearly half were closed even though it was a Friday morning. She ended up in an antiques shop near the end of the main road. Most of it was the usual one mans junk is another mans treasure type stuff but some things seemed to catch her eye. Like a small blue pendant in the shape of the moon. She picked it up and rubbed her thumb over the stone clearing the dust from it's surface. "It looks so old..." Chaise whispered to herself turning it over to read the inscription on the back.

Jayce then saw the girl from class walk into the antique shop across the street.  He was curious about her but he also curious about these stores.  He then followed her inside and saw her talking to herself about a pendant in her hand.  He then looked over her shoulder at it and smiled  "I always liked the moon too, its calming but powerful all at the same time"  Jayce said standing over her at the height of 6'2"

She jumped in surprise dropping the pedant and looked over at him wide-eyed, "i-i didn't see you there..." She stammered calming herself back down. Now that she was standing she realized how tall and intimidating he was. Chaise snapped out of her stare and picked up the necklace setting it back on the table. She could feel the shop keepers glare boring wholes through the back of her head, "oops....well its not broken." She thought relieved then turned around to look at the one behind her. "I should be getting back to campus, it was um nice meeting you" She said speedily before slipping out of the shop, "why did i do that? He defended me in class and I just run off?"

Jayce was disappointed because he wanted to talk to her a little bit more but she just ran out on him.  Jayce quickly sniffed himself to make sure he didn't stink but he didn't smell anything.  He then picked up the wolf pendant and decided to buy it.  He walked over to the counter and bout it.  He slipped it into his bag and walked back to class.  He had an English class coming up so he needed to not be late.   Jayce then began his walk to campus, wondering why this girl ran off like she did.

Chaise watched the clock all through her calculus class, "why does time always slow down when I'm doing math...?" She sighed and scribbled some stuff into her notebook before the class was dismissed. Chaise made her way to her dorm, looking at her schedule she realized she didn't have any classes tomorrow. "Oh thank god.." She fell back onto her bed and stared up at the ceiling trying to work up the motivation to start her homework. But just when she was about to get up she heard a scream from the dorm down the hall. Chaise ran out of her room and knocked at the door, "hello?? are you ok??" After not recieved an answer she opened the door to find blood on the floor and shattered glass all over the room. She ran up to the broken window, but she couldn't see anything the fog from town had settled around the campus. "oh no..."

Jayce heard the scream and he exited the class.  His ears were in pain because they were stronger than human ears.  Jayce then could smell blood.  He looked at the dorms and saw a broken window.  Jayce quickly turned into his wolf form when no one was looking and he jumped into the window finding a mutilated body of this girl.  Jayce then heard the voice of that girl from class.   He quickly made eye contact and jumped out the window.  He then quickly turned human again and ran up the stairs back to that room.  "What happened here?"  He asked

Chaise turned around, she had blood on her hands from touching the window sill and her feet had shallow cuts from the glass strewn across the floor, "i dont know! I heard a scream a-and now shes gone!" She was on the verge of panic realizing it could have looked like she did it. Chaise fought the urge to break down into tears looking around the room frantically.

Jayce put his arm on her "Hey, its okay, lets clean you up and we'll let Campus Security know"  Jayce said leading her out of the room holding her so she'd stop shaking.  Jayce then looked down to her "Where's your room, I want to make sure you get there safely."  Jayce said looking around waiting for her to reply realizing she was probably going through shock.  Jayce just took her to his room.  "is there anything I can do for you?" He asked

Chaise blinked coming back to her senses, "i need to get this glass out of my feet." She took a deep breath and sat on the edge of the bathtub then turned on the water. She winced a little when the hot water reached the small cuts on her feet but started picked them out and tossing the slivers into a nearby trash can. While she did this the water started to rinse the blood off of her hands. As her mind cleared she began to wonder what could've jumped through the second story window like that, "or maybe they came through the door... no no then it wouldn't have been closed..." Her curious nature immediately started replaying possible scenarios in her head.

Jayce had been on the phone with Campo (campus police) then they stopped by for a bit and Jayce answered some questions and they went on with their investigation.  Jayce shut the door and sat next to Chaise.  "So how are you?   Are you okay?" Jayce asked.  "Also my name is Jayce, so if you need anything don't feel like you can't call for me!"  Jayce informed her as he checked her hands for broken glass

"Im Chaise," she said after a minute she finished with her feet and turned off the water. "I'm sorry if i worried you." She watched him check her hands, "and yeah I'm fine, it just startled me I guess..." She laughed nervously in embarrassment. "I hope the police find whoever did that... that poor girl..." She shivered realizing if it had only been a few doors down it would have been her.

"wish we met on better circumstances" Jayce joked awkwardly.  "I don't doubt that for startling you.  I hope they find them too"  Jayce said thinking to himself that he'll try to find the killer because it looked like a werewolf attack.  Jayce then looked back to her.  "Do you need something to eat?  I have Ramen Noodles if you need to eat.  i have enough to share" Jayce asked realizing he's still holding her hand after checking them for glass.

"Yeah ramen sounds great." She smiled a little and gently took her hands back to grab a towel. She carefully dried her feet so not to make then bleed. "So are you new to this town as well?" She asked stepping out of the tub and hanging the towel back up.

Jayce made her a bowl of ramen and led her to the bed of his dorm and gave her a bowl.  He then pulled up a chair and faced her eating his own ramen.   "Yeah I'm new.  If you can't tell by my southern accent I'm from Arkansas.  I just had a big problem in my home town so I had to go as far as possible."  Jayce informed.  "So I guess you're new too?"  Jayce asked

Chaise sat down on the bed and crossed her legs setting her bowl of ramen in her lap, "Yeah from Seattle." She looked down at her bowl before she started eating. The warm food made her feel better and more at home. " You could say I had a similar situation" she shrugged it off and continued to eat. She could here the police asking around the dorms. She figured they would be there for a long time. "I hope they aren't too noisy tonight..." She thought silently but shrugged it off figuring she could ignore it.

Jayce smiled "Why would they make fun of you?   You're so pr.."  Jayce was then interrupted by loud knocking next door from the cops.  Jayce ignored what he was going to say and blushed a bit eating his food.  "Well I imagine they'll go to the other half of the dorms soon so yeah.  You know if you don't want to be alone you can stay here and I'll sleep on the couch over there" Jayce offered to her

Chaise flinched and looked at the wall where the sound came from, "Oh I wouldn't want to intrude or anything, I mean I already took way more than I should have...." She looked down at her half empty bowl then glanced back up at him. "Besides I wouldn't want to take your bed from you." She smiled a little and started eating again.
