Dave 5,715 Posted September 8, 2013 I still like Ansem the best. Before the retcon, if you take his plot on its own before the big reveal of KH2, I think his story the most tragic. Just from reading the Ansem Reports, this is a guy who was trying to do his best for the people of his city, and thought the only way to do this was to further his knowledge of the universe and become the smartest guy around. This leads him to start looking into things he perhaps ought not, including the heart, and eventually, the Heartless. And from there, he essentially looks too far and sees the end of the tunnel. There is nothing left to the fate of mankind, he concludes, but a return to Darkness. The entire sensation of LIght, with things such as joy, happiness, and love, are fleeting. So he basically cracks like an egg, forsake the world of Light, and tries to emulate the Darkness. But then, in the end, he's wrong after all, but by then, it's too late. And then DDD happened, and now he was totally just a pawn, and nothing he did had any emotional investment in it whatsoever. 1 Zola reacted to this

CROW 115 Posted September 12, 2013 Xemnas. Simply for several already stated reasons. This man doesn't need Kingdom Hearts to be a firetrucking god.
JayReaper 27 Posted September 12, 2013 I like Ansem because he basically went from being a frail hooded heartless, probably not much stronger than a shadow, to the most powerful villain in the game. I like Xemnas because his voice is firetrucking awesome and I think he was the most fun to fight. And I like Master Xehanort because he is a firetrucking evil genius... plus the bald/goatee combo seems to be all the rage these days ( What's up Walter White) glad to see he's keeping up with the trends at such an old age. Young Xehanort seemed like just a pussier version of Riku from KH1 in my opinion.
