Text Twilight Verses

Recommended Posts

I know this sucks, but its a random poem I wrote

The sun in the sky, seems to me as a bird on high, memories around me, fading fast. The days, they grow short, as our time here has passed, turning us to memories, in it's wake.

If anyone likes, I've got more of them.

Critacize or praise below.

Sadness a broad, no chances given, lost amid confusion and loves lost are haunting me.

Though carry on, brave face, willfully strong, there times when it all crashing down around me, and I

cannot bear it.

These are my twilight days, these are the summoned ways, these are the way that it all ends,

after all it seems.

( where the firetruck did THAT come from?  Just made it up on the spot. )

In the night, what a flight, soaring high, feel the sky.

Gossamer wings, your heart sings,

the dream begins.

HEART SONG

Through the night, through the dawn,

hold my hand, hold it strong,

all you fear, all you strife, my dear,

shall fade by morn's light, as the strength we both hold,

at last unfolds, as a neverending light... commences.

NEVER ENDING LIGHT

( This is based on some one I saw today )

Hey there lady, tall and thin,

where are you going, where have you been?

Your hair blonde, eyes a' green,

who are you, what have you seen?

Are you nice? Are you cruel?

Do you feed your kids gruel?

This I could ask, yet you'd never reply,

for I'm just another shopper,

passing on by.

Night, darkness abound:

we feed in the delightful dusk.

VAMPIRE COUPLETTE

" CLEAN UP THE ROOM, CLEAN UP THE ROOM!!!"

What do I look like: a mop and broom?

Toil, scrub, on knees a'bend,

till the room is clean again.

Pick up, ship out, don't leave things about,

this room will never be devoute

ly clean, as long as I'm in it.

Night, dark, dismal, dead,

are you safe, have you fed?

The creature inside,

loose only at dark,

enjoys brisk runs in the park.

After all, it must be said,

better to be nothing,

then one of the undead.

DARKNESS ABROAD

Fluffy, round, roll about,

kittens seem to lay around,

acting like a bunch of clowns.

Crash, bang, shattered glass,

a mess to be cleaned,

a kitten full of sass.

Deep purple, twilight eyes,

an unearthly voice fills the skies.

Darkness abound, loose, at bay,

no hope, no escape, 'till break of day.

On and on, the night doth creep, monsters invaiding innocent sleep.

Dawn's light far away,

who shall see the new day?

As hope dies, red fills the skies:

this is the age of Darkness.

An apple a day, keeps the doctor away,

so the saying goes.

This fair maid, a curse was upon laid,

the one fairest as snow.

FAIREST OF THEM ALL

Late, late, a very important date,

rushing clean away.

This savy maid, a rush she made,

now everything's topsy turvy.

DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE

Arabian daydream, magical, sweet:

it's enough to sweep you, off your feet.

Hair as black as raven's wing,

voice as if an angel sing,

a palace, tall and grand,

a tiger, her only friend.

ARABIAN DAYDREAMS

Dancing, swirling, having a ball,

the stroke of 12 dashes it all.

Hurry, hurry, not as  moment to be lost,

a slipper of glass, fates own is tossed.

Who owns it, what foot does it fit?

The prince will find out,

before love doth quit.
