READ THIS!Riku and Vanitas?

I posted this theory before but didnt get as much feedback as i wanted but here it goes again

I have a theory it may sound strange or you may talk shit about it but its just my opinion!!

 

In bbs when aqua meets vanitas for the first time he tells her that she would be a good "backup"? For what exactly? Then the second time they meet he tells her that he has outgrown his need for her and tries to kill her, shortly after defeating Vanitas you end up in Destiny Island and Aqua discovers that Riku was given the ability to wield a keyblade by Terra who was being followed or observed by Xehanort.

 

My theory Xehanort saw this and took it upon himself to have Vanitas do something or put a little of himself into Riku causing him to alter moods and start heading towards the darkness cause as a child Riku seemed kinda shy and quite but as you see in kingdom hearts he is cocky and arogant (like Vanitas) some dark traits which later overrun him. If Terra wouldve seen even the slightest of darkness in Riku he would have never gave him the ability to hold a keyblade.

 

You guys can look it up i want feedback good or bad this has been bothering me ever since i noticed that Riku's dark mode looks like Vanitas's body 

 

I also noticed the same fighting stances too

 

I also kinda think that it could just be what Xehanort gives his apprentices but then why wasn't Ven wearing one?

Although your theory seems solid, I doubt it very much.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Xehanort even knew about Sora and Riku at this point as they were still children,so I doubt a part of Vanitas went into Riku and I doubt that he would of been watching, he was too busy doing his own thing at this point., and remember everyone has darkness in the KH universe apart from the princesses of heart and Ven (his darkness is in the form of Vanitas) so Terra would of sensed this as everyone has darkness, it's just that it can be controlled.

 

Nice little theory there, but I dunno if that's the case.

I figured backup meant that if Ventus didn't get strong enough, he'd use Aqua for the χ-blade, but then I guess that wouldn't make sense since I think it'd only work if Vanitas fought Ven. IDK.

Aqua would be the backup of the necessary light part of the X-blade if Ventus weren't able to do it for being too weak, but since he got strong Vanitas lost his necessity of a backup, and the light that Terra saw was Sora but he though it was Riku because of some weird unexplained vision that he had of Riku when he first laid eyes on the boy (The whole Riku growing up and becoming Xehanort scene). But Vanitas was indeed locked inside Sora's heart and since Sora's heart is connected with Riku's heart maybe some influence of Vanitas may have slip to Riku, idk

i just saw the secret episode in BBS final mix and Aqua is wearing an outfit really similar to Riku's when she travels into the Realm of Darkness did Riku end up in the Realm of Darkness after Destiny Island or did he just end up in Hallow Bastion 

Maybe the Realm of Darkness or just Darkness is what gives this apparel

Wow. I never thought of that. Vanitas and Sora, Riku and Xehanort. Imagine if they faced each other.

The reason Riku had darkness is because of Ansem.In KH1 he corrupted him and tried to control his body

to open the door of the Destiny Islands.Now why Riku's Dark Mode is like Vanita's outfit i don't know.

Your probably right when I get 1.5 im gonna look at everything really closely and see if i catch something if not im just gonna assume thats what you get when your with the darkness and assume that they ran out of stances and just gave Vanitas a similar one

No Terra sensed the light inside Riku, not Sora. I imagine he sensed it from Riku because the two trios have some weird destiny connection. Terra says "was I guided here to meet that boy(Riku)?"
