Be glad you aren't me.

Recommended Posts

So my dad lost his job, and now we have to move out of state on the 7th, which will cause me to cancel my pre-order and VERY likely going to cause me to lose the pre-order bonuses as well, unless I can pre-order it 2-3 days before release and still get them. WHY NOW?!!?!?!?!? >: O

Call customer support for whatever site you pre-ordered your copy.  Explain the situation and I'm sure they'll be able to change the shipping address for you.  If anything, see if you can get it sent to a relative's house that you can pick it up from if you don't know your new house's address yet.

:O if you know the address (the place your moving to) you can just change the address on your order.

But I'm ordering at a Gamestop and the website no longer has the artbook available. :[

I just hope Gamestops still do....

Change the address of your order or else leave a forwarding address

Think I could do that for a Gamestop order?

Change an Existing Order

To update an order, visit the Order History page and sign in. A list of recent orders will be displayed. Click on the order number to review order details and available self-service options. Depending on where your order is in the processing cycle, you may be able to update the credit card information, change the shipping service level, or cancel an order.

If the self-service option you need is unavailable, please send us an email or call 1-800-883-8895. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. (CST) 7 days a week. If your order has already been processed it may be too late to make changes.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________If you can't change the address, you could ask can you pick it up in store on the day instead of getting it delivered, it said somewhere else on the site that they don't ship until 3 or 4 days before the release date so you have about 6 days to try and sort it

Most people I've found though have said a quick call or popping into store and asking is suffice enough long as it's before the dispatch date.

Forgot to mention that I ordered it in-store and I tried calling to see if they'd mail it but they were hella rude about it...I appreciate your time though

From the research I did, it's better if you did it in-store, just got in-store and ask can you change the address, they get bonuses in store for their sales so keeping your preorder instead of losing it would be in their interest and all the cases I looked at they were happy to comply (I was reading forums of it xD)

Sorry to hear man. I think you need not to worry about artbook or the ps3 theme because someone might upload them here for us to download. I will see if I can do it..

Do we know if that'll work for sure though? Usually PSN codes for stuff like that can only be redeemed once, and unable to copy to PC. Buuut, I still have a small sliver of a chance to be here on the 10th. My dad found a possible job opportunity, but it takes a week or so to proccess. Here's hoping it'll at least take til the 10th! No only one person would have to redeem the code once and then he could copy the theme to a USB stick or something and then upload it on a sharing download website so everyone could download it. Anyways Good Luck to you..
