xo-DastardlyDeed-xo 3 Posted August 27, 2013 Okay so I know this is a very controversial topic (and im pretty sure controversial is spelt wrong) but as far as pokemon gens which is your favorite and why? Also what do you think about x and y. Personally my gens are 1 & 2 cause they seemed cooler and it was more battles then cuteness. and i dislike what ive seen of x and y. But anyway im just curious as to fellow pokemon trainers thoughts are

SoraBlade 832 Posted August 27, 2013 THEY SEEMED COOLER AND MORE BATTLES THAN CUTENESS! What about the Litwick family? Gen 4? Practically, there was a Pokemon who FIRETRUCKING took PEOPLE to HELL! Litwick weakens, Lampent kills, and Chandelure BURNS the body.

Litwick, Lampent and Chandelure were in Generation 5. @Topic My favourite so far is Gen 5, the gameplay always improves and I like the story, the music, the characters much more. I think X/Y might be better if it has a better story. So far I really like what they've done with X and Y. Hoshiko Hikari 300 Posted August 27, 2013 I like Generations 1 and 2 best as well. The pokémon designs these days tend to be too complex and plus the animé was never the same after Misty and Brock left... 1 xo-DastardlyDeed-xo reacted to this

Litwick weakens, Lampent kills, and Chandelure BURNS the body. You're probably thinking of Drifloon about the "Gen 4 Pokemon that drags people to hell". The Litwick family, on the other hand, are just will-o-the-wisps in lighting fixtures. And it's firetrucking genius. Yamask and Litwick show how much imagination goes into the Pokemon designs even nowadays.(Gen 5's my favorite if you can't tell) 1 SoraBlade reacted to this
Guest Posted August 27, 2013 Favorite gen: gen 3/5 gameplay wise. I liked Gen 4 secondly, then gen 2, then Gen one gameplay wise. I like gen 4's story best(seeing as it was the first generation with a main installment being really dark in the story), next, Gen 5-1 because of the way N's character developed, being the main villain turned into just a misunderstood hero was cool, then gen 3/gen 1 storyline and gen 2 the least. SkyEmerald 73 Posted August 27, 2013 I enjoyed Gen III the best, followed by IV, II,V, and I. I'm expecting Gen VI to be somewhere between III and IV.
_The Door To Light_ 1,507 Posted August 27, 2013 Gen 1 is my favorite, but I've enjoyed every Gen I played 1 xo-DastardlyDeed-xo reacted to this
Shulk 8,623 Posted August 27, 2013 See I didnt know that about them they just look like candle sticks. I stopped watching the show when Dawn came in. She annoyed me Are you implying you only watched the anime...? The new anime is crap, but the games are spectacular. Anyway, favorite Gen is II (SGC, SS/HG are Gen IV). Silver had a ton of content, a fun overworld, simple gameplay, and the best final boss ever. I still love all gens though (IV mostly for the sidegames like Mystery Dungeon). X/Y look amazing, I'm preordering Y. 1 Dio Brando reacted to this

venxas24 544 Posted August 28, 2013 I personally thought that 4th gen was the best. Platinum is still my favorite game and I love it because of the things that they introduced. In this gen they let you run indoors for the first time which is probably the most frustrating thing for me in previous gen because I like moving fast. Also, they had awesome new pokemon and added tons of new evolutions to past pokemon. It also introduced pokemon to the DS in an awesome way, and with the DS having wireless connection it made trading easy and smooth and getting event items really easy.I also liked how there isn't really a slow part in the game. I often get bored with past gens at specific times because I find it a bit boring but I can play through this game tons of times without getting bored 1 xo-DastardlyDeed-xo reacted to this
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) Well as far as the anime goes, I don't really care for anything after Johto. But with games, from what I've seen, Gen VI may just become my favorite. Currently, Gen IV, specifically Platinum, is my favorite because the save the world part was more pronounced than the collect badges and fight criminal organization parts when compared to other gens. It was clearly stated that allowing Giratina to roam free endangered the whole world when other times, like Gen V for example it was only that specific region that was said to be in danger. If Gen VI can do that kind of story in addition to everything else I've seen, it will be my No. 1 Edited August 28, 2013 by Isamu_Kuno 1 xo-DastardlyDeed-xo reacted to this
