Anime | Manga Any suggestions...?

So, I went to my first anime convention over the summer (I cosplayed as Namine, and it was awesome!!!)  and I realized that I have not watched any anime.  The only reason I went was because of my obsession over Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy...so does anybody have any animes that you would suggest watching???  Really wanting to broaden my horizons in the anime world, so I'm more experienced next year:-)  Thanks guys!

Or maybe you just want to start by watching the animes based off a manga you read. I don't know whether you're more of the shounen or shoujo type, I myself am kind of both.

Sword Art OnlineAny of the Gundam seriesGuilty CrownThose are my three. Oh, and one more... Dragon Ball. Not DBZ, where the show was although good, was mostly yelling and somewhat annoying. DB has an adventure feel and it actually shows Goku develop as well as the others.

Pokemon - About a useless Pokemon trainer who doesn't grow up.

Dragon Ball Z - About guys grunting for half of the show/

Yugioh - A group people who take a card game too seriously.

K-On - A bunch of prepubescent girls who do nothing but make a band.

 

Oh and you HAVE to watch all of these in 4kidz Dub.  That's a must!
