Will Aqua be saved by sora/riku in kingdom hearts 3?

I think both DDD and Re: Coded have stressed that they need to be saved and DDD just reinforces it and we know KH3 is when it will definitely happen .

Yes, all the games have been leading up to that. Sora holds the key to awaken those we thought were lost forever. But it'll be a team effort to find them since in the game's description says that Riku and King Mickey will search for the PAST KEYBLADE WIELDERS, while Sora, Donald and Goofy will look for the KEY TO AWAKEN HEARTS. So yeah, Terra, Ventus and Aqua will be saved by Riku and the King while the key to awaken hearts will bring back Namine, Roxas and Xion. At least that's what I think.

Didnt nomura say it would be difficult to have a female character playable? i take that too mean, going by the fact there will be multiple playable characters, that something has happened to aqua. Maybe she is fading into the darkness, and she knew she couldnt save ven so in a last move she threw eraqus' keyblade through the portal and it washed up on the beach later in the hopes sora's heart would guide him to saving ventus or something.

yes i would hope there isnt a problem, if they could do it in bbs and nomura still said that in an interview its a hint that her possibly not being playable is plot related, kairi probably wont be though, like you said.

I don't see why she couldn't be related to the plot...I mean she could be a huge help...she's a firetrucking Keyblade Master FFS(plus we need to see more of them boobs in HD ...jk jk )

I think Aqua could somehow gets out of the relm of Darkness on her own like maybe the relm of darkness gets crowded with heartless, Overwelmed she sees a portal jumps in it & ends up on the beach of Destiny Island & she's so worn out from fighting Heartless she passes out and Eriqus's Keyblade floats to land. Sora comes & picks up the keyblade looks & see's Aqua. He helps her get her strenth back and the two of them along with Donald & Goofy go to Castle oblivion to wake up Ven. To back this up Sora at this point could already have found the key to return hearts.
