• you think Kingdom Hearts is an anime: and I quote, "In Final Fantasy X, Nomura's designs became more and more realistic... but this all changed in Nomura's participation in Kingdom Hearts; due to the immense amount of western influences from the Disney characters in Kingdom Hearts, Nomura adopted a more anime/cartoon look for his characters...".
• you think the voice actors of Xion, Leon, Mickey, Ansem the Wise, and Ansem, Seeker of Darkness are the same throughout the (English) series: most noticeably, the English voice actor of Mickey Mouse, Wayne Allwine, passed away in 2009 while working on Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (being his last performance as Mickey). The voice of Mickey was then passed down to Bret Iwan from Birth by Sleep (his first full voice-over as Mickey) to today.

KH coded should still just have been a few cutscenes at the of BbS or at the beginning of 3D, or some place else. So very little within the story added to the rest of the series, and the story itself wasn't particularly interesting. And the game didn't give of the slightest impression that it was trying to focus on Ansem's work. It might have slightly hinted at it at the end of the game, but that was it. Re:coded was a fun game, but it wasn't needed.

Well, it looks like I didn't know Kingdom Hearts a year ago.

 

When those characters got their voices changed, I didn't notice a difference. Their replacements were really good.

I'm confused as to how nobody noticed the difference between the Ansem voices.  Both SoD and Wise had voice actors changed and both were very noticeable for me. With 1.5 Remix coming out, I've noticed both SoDs in KH1 and Re:CoM sound different.  And it's highly obvious Ansem the Wise's VA was changed when you no longer hear Count Dooku.

I think the only thing up there that really doesn't matter for a KH fan is the voice actors... they don't change anything about the story/series.

Just dated myself though. I use to watch that cartoon as a kid before it was on Cartoon Disney or whatever they call it. Back when cartoon stations didn't exist. Sigh. I'm old.  <_<

Other than CoM and BBS the spin offs are pretty pointless, 358/2 Days is the worst of them, they toke a good concept of seeing the Thirteen's story and turned it into;

Roxas:" Gee Axel what are we gonna do today?" Axel:"Same thing we do everyday Roxas, try to eat Sea Salt Ice Cream!"

The voice actor thing doesn't necessarily mean you don't know Kingdom Hearts, you just didn't pay attention to the voices enough. 

 

To be honest, I think Leon sounds exactly the same between KH1 and 2, and I know full well he has two different VAs.
