Reyn 1,755 Posted August 12, 2013 If i remember correctly, they never actually brought up how she returned. She was killed in KH1, and comes back in KH2, but no one ever says HOW EXACTLY SHE DOES COME BACK!!! Seriously, they just dropped that completely. They just brought her back for her to save Sora once and for Pete to have a role in the game that affects the story some what. THAT'S IT. Seriously, i was pretty dissapointed with what they did with her in KH2, she should've just stayed dead honestly. 1 mosokisa reacted to this
Gamerazor247 877 Posted August 12, 2013 Agreed ... Didn't she die again in KH2?... What she comes back in KH3? Lol she's been in like every game except DDD ...
awesomeinmyworld 268 Posted August 12, 2013 I think Maleficent, when defeated by Sora, retreated into the Realm of Darkness until her strength returned. In re:Com, when Zexion was identifying the visitors in C.O's basement, he identified Maleficent. Vexen then said: "She cannot return from the Realm of Darkness, of her own volition". 2 XxVanitasxX420 and Reyn reacted to this

She and Pete was at Disney Castle holding Minnie as a hostage and tried to get the Data Worlds(Re:coded) from Mickey. But she failed when badass Lea came and stop her. projecttank 15 Posted August 12, 2013 Something about remembering her presence when near her remains allows her to use your thoughts to bring her back. 1 luka reacted to this
Zoro317 111 Posted August 12, 2013 The very memory of her revives her being, apparently. But I think this only applies to those from her own world. 2 luka and XxVanitasxX420 reacted to this

Hoshiko Hikari 300 Posted August 12, 2013 The very memory of her revives her being, apparently. But I think this only applies to those from her own world. Yup, the same logic was used in the 1998 film 'Merlin' with Queen Mab. She faded into non-existence when everyone forgot about her. Either Nomura has seen that film and taken the idea from it or it's an idea that exists generally in mythology.
xxClouDxxmoon 901 Posted August 12, 2013 There was a reason Im pretty sure it was the fairy godmothers who told us when we went to Yen Sids tower.
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted August 15, 2013 Well, wasn't it that she just came back because everyone remembered her? The details are kinda sketchy...
KH4Real 749 Posted August 15, 2013 This says Kingdom Hearts wiki: But by using her last bit of evil power, she was able to cmoe back again some time later. I think the same goes for KH1.

NO_HEART_XIII 312 Posted September 8, 2013 It's nearly impossible to kill someone in this series. It is quite the task to get rid of someone for good.
AaySquare 445 Posted September 8, 2013 I think there should be reasonable answer for that but they didn't do anything to tell use about it in a clear way.
jorrell3946 70 Posted September 8, 2013 Maybe it was someone else who revived her. Maybe Xehanort.
XxVanitasxX420 14 Posted September 8, 2013 if you remember in she gets brought back by people remembering her so witht he help of her raven Diablo shows up to the 3 fairy godmothers and they get scared and say we must not remember (something along those lines) and when Sora defeats her in one she used her last bit of energy to go to the realm of darkness were she could recover 2 Philip Ellwell and Handsome_the_Wise reacted to this

SoraKH 793 Posted September 10, 2013 Its something like Voldemort. Remember in KH2 in Yen Sid's tower her bird came in and threw her cape on the table. I think when Merryweather said her name she kinda just came alive
DAMN 80 Posted September 17, 2013 The very memory of her revives her being, apparently. But I think this only applies to those from her own world. Remember when the 3 fairies always try to not remember her? It has to do with memories In KH series Memories are a Staple Symbol of the series Its something like Voldemort. Remember in KH2 in Yen Sid's tower her bird came in and threw her cape on the table. I think when Merryweather said her name she kinda just came alive The other way around buddy...Maleficient is way before Voldemort
VeNate13 144 Posted September 18, 2013 Here's what I think happened. In Kingdom Hearts when she was defeated she lost her heart and found herself in the RoD. But in Kingdom Hearts 2 she revives herself by evil magic.
