atheist123 583 Posted August 11, 2013 I'm curious as to what people think will be the best album of 2013. I've listened to a few amazing albums this year, and want to know what you guys have been listening to/looking forward to.

atheist123 583 Posted August 11, 2013 OneRepublic Native But there are still a lot of albums coming out later this year. That's definitely one of the best pop rock albums. Then again the only other pop rock albums I've listened to this year was Fall Out Boy's and Paramore's... So not much competition

I think I was confusing them with 30 Seconds to Mars. I know some band from the emo era released a horrible album, but I forgot which

dusk 910 Posted August 11, 2013 Kinda early to ask "the album of the year" when we still have like 4 months left of this year.. Still waiting for Dream Theater's new album, but some of my favorites: TesseracT's "Altered State" is quite amazing (not as good as "One" though) Aristocrats' "Culture Clash" Karnivool's "Asymmetry" Amogh Symphony's "Abolishing the Obselete System"

They've both progressed a lot from their earlier work (especially August Burns Red).

I also thought BMTH's Sempiternal was a good album while totally different from their previous albums. And in a completely different genre City and Colour's The Hurry and the Harm is brilliant too. A lot of good albums came out this year when you think about it lol. 1 atheist123 reacted to this

ABR has improved a lot from the time they started, but not really my favorite band
Caity 3,946 Posted August 11, 2013 Blurred Lines is from an album called Blurred Lines (though who cares about the rest of the songs on it) and has topped the charts in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland and the United Kingdom, as well as the top ten in Belgium, Denmark, Lithuania, France, Iceland, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland this year. One of the best pop songs of the last few years.

I don't even watch the video (and have seen both the tv version and unrated version) I just think the lyrics are good 1 atheist123 reacted to this
