Okay, for those of you have have not finished the game or don't have the game at all yet then you may not want to read this thread because this thread talks about the ending. So just so anyone doesn't get tempted to read it I will put it in a spoiler tag. If you read the spoiler tag than that is your own fault. I hold no responsibility for you reading the spoiler tag. This was the crappiest ending I have ever seen. It went like this: Desmond saves the world, dies, game over. And to think, Mass Effect 3's ending was bad.

Really? That's nowhere near as bad as ME3's un-extended ending.

This didn't go against AC's entire foundation, Desmond rejects becoming a god and sacrifices himself to give hope? Sure, it's a downer of an ending, but it's clearly setting up a new series.

This is about as bad as XIII-2's ending, it doesn't match the sheer betrayal of all things Mass Effect that ME3 wrought

I never played ME... or ME 3 but: Was that the whole end to the series/this story line?

AC 3's end is not a whole thing so much is clear so I would not "hate" it until we see what becomes of it in the future.

Plus, even if: What is the problem? There were hints.

The people who make Assassin's Creed said they are going to wait to see if they make another game with Conner as the main character, to see if people want another game with Conner, they said they made 3 Ezio games because people love Ezio, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE CONNER, and i was wondering, do you guys who have played Assassin's Creed 3 want another 1 or 2 games with Conner, or do you want them to move on?

 

I want Conner to have a Trilogy like Ezio did, because so far Conner has done just as much as Ezio with no real Ally's, with nobody he could truly trust, like Ezio had, because Conner is a Minority so i feel he is special and deserves at least a 2nd game, but what do other Assassin's Creed 3 Players think?

I haven't played it but since i'm a huge fan of the Revolutionary War, and Assassins Creed I'd say heck yea and Connor seems like one of the coolest characters

I didn't play AC3 yet, but I watched several Walkthroughs, so I could Imagine a new game with Connor, if he would be older, just like Ezio in Brotherhood or Revelations. 'cause imo Connor wasn't Assassin enough. He's very kind and that's not good... For me it looked like that he wanted to let everyone live, like the minor Templars he observed to get more information... But THEY would have clearly made use of his kindness in the blink of an eye.

Also I don't really know how they want to make another game with Connor cause AC3 is the last game Desmond ... Maybe Desmonds father? o: this could work too

They would need to have some explanation to do it since this is Desmond's last game. But if they can pull it off I'd like to see more of Connor in future games.

hey guys, you forget the simple fact that this is a video game series, they are either going to bring Desmond back(less likely) or they will get someone else who shares Desmond's bloodline, oh how hard can that be we will have to look all of 5 FEET

everyone says more Conner, he was the coolest Assassin so far if you ask me, which is hard to say, because i love Ezio, but Conner did the most amount of work he could with almost NO help, he said it himself, when asked why he keeps fighting the Templar's, he had the GREATEST RESPONSE EVER! After seeing the epilogue I think there has to be more about him/his story. His people left or rather had to leave... and... well, it was a rather sad end if I may say so. Nothing was left for him. The old teacher guy died... right?

Plus, Connoir is nice character who did not feel like a real assassin. I think, he never was. He was trained their techniques and so on but their credo at least he did not live it. All he did he did for his people and the wrong spirit aka Juno. Now that that is settled, I guess, he can try to rebuild the real assassins - if he stays he will slip right into the next war. That would mean new Templers and so a good chance to bring the assassins back.

 

If I look at AC4 - there would be no reason for Connor to come back. Desmond's... crew would need someone with Eva's DNA so that they can see how to stop Juno. It seemed like Clay knew someone with that DNA or he did just know about Juno's Plan.

 

 

The only way Connor would have a use for the present time story line is when some (new/other) character would like to train like Desmond with Ezio. Plus, iirc Washingtion got an PoE so maybe that would be of use, too?

Well even after the Assassins were pretty much dead, Ezio rebuilt it from scratch, as well as pretty much, at least, liberating Italy and Constantinople. All of Europe is questionable as whether it's canon.
