If this is real, it look like it'd be set in America's early years. Maybe there were some Templars during the time of the American Revolution?

an image of a native american assassin in front of a 13 star flag was leaked yesterday and ubisoft is set to make a big assassins creed 3 announcement on monday, so it seems pretty believable!

i was also thinking that story-wise, since he is believed to be native american, but taking down a british soldier in the picture, that he is one of the indians that the americans took and tried to "reform." He may then grow up trained as an assassin for america to help take down Britain.

That would make sense. Also, it turns out the picture is actually real. But if he is to be a Native American, how could he be a descendant of Altair and Ezio?

altair and ezio arent related. what makes desmond special is that he is focal point of many assassin ancestral links. say that this native american dudes daughter meets ezios great-great-great-great grandson and they have a kid that goes on to lead up to William Miles. then altair might lead up to desmonds mother. that's how desmonds ancestral line works.

Assassin's in Colonial America, AWESOME! it also seems that the assassin is on america's side as shown by him killing a red coat soldier. it could be possible that he could be fighting in the american revolution, trying to prevent the British from winning the war. The hatchet that he's wielding looks pretty awesome, also if you notice on the assassin's back that the quiver of arrows are too long to be crossbow bolts. And if you look closely you can see the bow right next to it.

It does look cool, but im not raving, its how long Ubisoft spent with Ezio that stopped me, originally it was only supposed to be a trilogy and thought "hmmm..that might just work, but with brotherhood which was okay but paying for the last of the story? no thank you, that stopped me from AC from then on

This is so cool! I can't wait. It looks epic. X)

This may be related or unrelated to the topic but anyways...

VIVA LA REVOLUCION!/headshot

Did you get that from Black Ops? xD

Anyway, YES THIS WILL PROVE THAT AMERICANS ARE NOT FAT.

Huh. For some reason I'd had it in my head that AC:3 would take place during the French Revolution. This could be just as, if not more, cool (I'm a history student/junkie - hence the major reason I'm an Assassin's Creed fan). Can't wait to hang out and interact with Adams, Jefferson, Hamilton, Burr, Madison, Washington, and all those guys. Good stuff.

Also, REALLY glad the main character is Native American (or at least affiliated with them - judging from his getup/weaponry). Might add a much more intriguing dimension to the plot, as opposed to if he were a colonialist.. then it'd just be the standard Americans v. the Brits.
