Kingdom Hearts: Dark Uprising (RP)

Kasai snapped out of her revery at Lacus's call for aid. She just had to hope Rook would catch up. She fired a bolt of fire past Lucas, igniting a Nobody in flight. She summoned her large Keyblade and brought it down on another Nobody, cleaving it in two. She whooped and hefted her blade around to block a Beserker's massive weapon.

"Anybody know how these guys got here?" She asked.

"Good to hear you re-mem-ber, Ro-cel" The creature known as Drakt clicked.

Adjusting to the gloom, Rook saw six red eyes arranged together and could hear the creature's four, blade like legs licking on the ground.

"Hard to forget you, Drakt." He said in a tight voice. "And it's Rook, now."

(Uh guys, for personal reasons, im not gonna be able to come here for much of the day, so yeah. :| Ill try to respond when i can, but i cant guarantee anything.)

Lucas continued to rapidly cast Thunder spells at the hundreds of Nobodies in the mansion. "Guys, there are so many!! I can't do this all by myself!" He then proceeded to do multiple spin attacks(on the ground) in rapid succession to wipe out a good number of them, but they just kept coming.

"What the flying pancakes have you all gotten yourselves into?!" Ghost screamed to every keyblade student in the immediate vicinity as he ran up to the doorway of the mansion, now jammed open thanks to yet another inconsiderate attack from one of the students. He spotted the hundreds of nobodies within the mansion, but was somewhat relieved that Lucas was taking care of most of it. Spotting a group coming at him, he performed a strike raid into the group, eliminating two of the three nobodies before manually striking down the last one.

"Guys, there are so many!! I can't do this all by myself!" he heard Lucas exclaim.

"Well maybe if you'd stop breaking and entering every door that you see, we wouldn't be having this problem! You're getting what you deserve!" Ghost yelled back, somewhat surprised by the rudeness in his reply as he targeted another group of nobodies.

"Anybody know how these guys got here?"

"We can think about that later! Focus on cleaning up this place first!"  he replied back to Kasai.

"HEY!! I DIDN'T BRING THESE NOBODIES HERE!!! JACK WAS THE ONE WHO ENTERED THIS PLACE AND THEY JUST APPEARED OUT OF NOWHERE!!! Don't go blaming me!" Lucas continued to slash away at the nobodies. He jumped into the air and threw his keyblade at a group of enemies, and the keyblade sweeped right through 5 of them.

"Maybe someone is here, and they're using the Nobodies to stop us from getting to them? Maybe that's why all of these guys appeared out of nowhere." Lucas jumped into the air and spun in circles, firing Thunder spells like crazy, taking out 20 nobodies. "MAN! There's NO END TO THESE THINGS!!!" Lucas then blocked 2 nobodies coming up from his sides who tried to hit him with their weapons with his keyblade, and proceeded to fire a thunder spell upward which hit all enemies in his area, destroying the 2.

Allitt ran into the mansion, joining the fighters inside. "Great, we just can't get a break, can we!?" She shouted as she took out a group of the Nobodies. "Can we even take them all on!? We're completely outnumbered!" She fired a Blizzard spell at one, freezing it in its tracks. After this, Allitt swung her Keyblade at it, shattering it like glass.

"COME ON GUYS!!! WE NEED A PLAN. I've got an idea! When i say "Go", we'll all use our offensive spells at once, on the largest brush of enemies and repeatedly use them to take out as many enemies as possible. Those who don't have offensive spells, use Aerial attacks and try to take down as many as you can. READY!!??!?!?? 3, 2, 1, GO!!!"

Lucas spun incredibly fast, firing Thunder spells as fast as he could in a similar fashion to how Aqua would fire magic with her "Lightbloom" shotlock. He then fired a finishing thunder spell, which had him doing a backflip and firing a strong version of the spell, taking out 4 enemies at once.

"Okay, that's simpler." Kasai replied to Ghost then laughed.

She opened up with more fire balls as she followed Lucas's offensive. She swung her great sword sized Keyblade around her in a two handed grip. There wasn't much style or finese with her swings, but it cleaved through any Nobody in its path.

"Don't let the Nobodies sperate us!" She called out.

As she said this, she couldn't help her mind wandering back to the question of where Rook was.

"So, you think you have changed." Dakt commented, smugness evident in its voice.

"Still a work in progress." Rook replied.

His hand shot out and closed around his key blade, New Dawn's, handle. The Keyblade shone with Light.

"But for the most part, yes."

Rook saw Dakt's bug like form scurry behind an out cropping of rocks. As Rook had guessed, he was in the Dark Realm.

"And now that I am changing, dealing with you will clinch it."

(I just got that shotlock a few days ago... :P)

"Right, let's go!" Allitt responded, firing Blizzards at some of the Nobodies in the group. Her Blizzard attack wasn't quite as fast or effective as a Fire or a Thunder spell, but it still took out a good amount of the creatures.

"Let's do this! Sonic Arts!" Joel ran through the Nobodies, mowing them down with lightning-fast strikes. Suddenly, several jumped out at him from all directions. Electricity surged through his Keyblade as Joel performed a spin attack, taking them all out. He ran back to the others, this time taking a different path through the crowd in order to kill some more enemies.

Joel and the others continued fighting for a good while. Joel was starting to get more and more exhausted, but he found the strength to keep on moving when he saw that the enemy's numbers finally seemed to be dwindling down. Joel shouted to the others, "I think it's about time we wrap things up here. Don't you all agree?"

Seren hung back, then rose into the air. His own wings of light unfurled, and he entered what he jokingly called Kira Mode.

His mind targeting lightning quixk, Seren began to rain down light bolts from his wings, either outright destroying or severly damaging Nobodies. He barely had to aim at the sea before him.

Ao he kept firing, playing a more supporting role. After all...apparently they were very powerful for students.

Rei hung back, not sure what to do. Everything was happening so fast...

Kasai remained at the front of the action, her Dark Guardian Keyblade cleaving through any heartless in her range with little difficulty. She stopped and hung a little back when she began to notice Seren's light bolts.

"Hey, where did you learn that?" She asked Seren's before blasting a Dragoon in the face with a fire ball.

"Why waste time on small Dakt when bigg-er dark-nessesss gather?" Dakt asked. "And why they cre-ate illu-sions?"

Rook narrowed his eyes. So, the creature hadn't been involved in that. Odd.

"Then why bring me here?" Rook demanded.

"Be-cause some-one had to be warned." It clicked. "And we worked to-geth-er ssso well before."

Lightning flashed about as Jin approached the Tower again. Jin ran inside and made his way towards Yen Sid's room. There, he found Xio sitting on Yen Sid's bed. "Fancy meeting you here," Xio smiled as he crossed his legs. "What are you doing here?" Jin asked reaching for his sword. "Woah woah if I wanted to kill you, I would have done so," Xio said quickly pointing his gun at Jin. Jin let go of the handle and looked at Xio. "Now that we're all calm, you look like you just had a visit with the Lifestream," Xio sighed getting up and walking around the room. "You were there?" Jin asked. "Unfortunately, no. I am banned from that place. My sins have reached too many for even a goddess to accept me again. When I die, I will become dust. I cannot go back to the Lifestream from where I came," Xio explained. Jin folded his arms and listened to his rival. "However, I am here to show you something," Xio said as he pushed a wall in Yen Sid's room. The wall gave way, leading to a hidden stairwell. "What's that?" Jin asked. "That leads to an advance magic training course. It will help you get better in magic," Xio said as he started to walk away. "Why help me?" Jin questioned. "I thought I told you already Jin? I just want a better challenge when we clash again," Xio concluded as he disappeared.

(Okay, all caught up with ALL my notifications.  Phew.)Jack watched the display of amazing talent start clearing the large room filled with many, many enemies.  The Nobodies were teeming and even though they were trying their best, they could only make so much of a difference before more appeared.  Someone needed to do something, come up with a better plan to push through.  Jack had it all figure out.  The best defense is the best offense, he thought to himself.  "Alright guys, listen up!  Best way to do this is by playing it as cool as possible.  Barrier!" he yelled, summoning a checkered square patterned reflect spell in the front.  "Now all of you follow behind and I'll push them backwards.  We can't possibly defeat them all, but we can get to the destination if we team up!" he continued.  "I'll be keeping my eye on making a path so I'll be needing help from my sides to my back.  I know it's weird of me just to take leadership, but we're trying to get somewhere, and this is just a huge waste of time."  Jack began to push through the Nobodies, not killing them from the reflect damage, but doing enough to quickly stun them as he proceeded.  The only way his plan would work was for everyone to work together, teamwork.

"Good Idea! GUYS, COME ON. Lets get behind!" Lucas dodge rolled towards Jack, dodging most of the attacks the nobodies used, but he still got a couple bruises and cuts from the weapons and attacks that managed to hit him. Ok, since they're swarming us, i should fire Thunder spells into the air that hit the nobodies in an area, rather then just straight bolts like a normal fire and blizzard spell. Lucas started firing Thunder spells into the air, and like he thought, all the enemies around him got hit and destroyed by the radius of the spell. "COME ON GUYS! ILL KEEP THEM AT BAY WITH MY SPELLS UNTIL YOU GET HERE, THEN WE CAN GET MOVING!!!"

With Seren assisting the group and all of the others students eager to put their weapons to good use, Ghost noticed Rei amidst the chaos. He quickly pulled back, letting the eager students take care of the situation as he positioned himself in a defensive position near her. He channeled some of his healing magic, a green orb forming on his left hand and ready to help her or anyone who just might need it.

"Good idea," Joel thought. He ran toward Jack and stood behind him. Then Lucas rolled up to them. They then charged. As Jack pushed the Nobodies with his Barrier spell and Lucas fried them with his Thunder, Joel took it upon himself to remove any enemies who got past the Barrier, so they wouldn't attack Jack and mess up his concentration. He swung his Keyblade in arcs, taking out a few Nobodies at a time. They were starting to make progress, but it was still a bit slow.

"Guys!" Joel called to the others, "A little help, please?"

She fired Blizzard spells at any Nobodies that got past the barrier, and occasionally slashed at them, causing them to dissipate into nothingness.

[i'm gonna help advance this plot a little, too much battling at this point if you don't mind]

Ghost was nervous for once, the sheer number of nobodies inside the mansion were actually a threat to the students and more importantly Rei if they actually breached the front door. The students seemed to be holding their own, but if any one of them starts to get exhausted, the tide could quickly turn against then. Ghost was the supportive keyblade wielder, full combat not exactly being his specialty but rather books. As the carnage continued, some very familiar voices came from behind him.

"Go, go, go!"

"Reinforcements have arrived!"

"Hey Ghost, save some for us!"

His Commando friends immediately formed up to his sides, positioning themselves between Rei and the enemies before using their arrow-rifles, sending a hailstorm of precision bolt shots into the fray of nobodies, miraculously missing all the keyblade students in the process and actually doing quite a number on them. With their barrage of fire done, only a few nobodies remained, and the squad knew the students were more than happy to mop up the rest. Ghost lowered his keyblade and turned to them. "Shadow? Spirit? Commander Spectre? What are you guys doing here?"

"Well, we got curious about why you were here at the old mansion, so we decided to check up on you!" Shadow replied.

"That, and I just had to meet your absolutely stunning girlfriend in person." his commander added, the whole squad bursting into a laughter of sorts as a result. "What?! can't blame us!"

It took Ghost a while to calm down. "Man, you guys. Well, we did kinda needed the help. And stay away from her, she's with me."

"So... Ghost. Have you two uh... ya know?." Spirit asked, and immediately Ghost punched him on the shoulders, bringing him to the ground and the rest into another round of laughing. Even Ghost struggled to compose himself, blushing in response to the question as his commander called him out on it. The students were happily racking up their body count of nobodies, so none of them were concerned with the few enemies that were left. Commander Spectre was the first to speak after the laughing spree. "Anywho, we're all here for the reconstruction effort for the Clock Tower. You gonna help out Ghost?"

"Sorry sir, I've been assigned to watch over these students for a while." Ghost replied, "And my girlfriend too."

The commander nodded his head. "I understand. Well, when your assignment is over, stop by. We'll need all the help we can get. IN the meantime, we better get started. C'mon boys! Lets move out!" he shouted as he pointed in the general direction to the town. After exchanging their goodbyes, Ghost's squad started heading back to the town as he entered the mansion. The place was finally clear, and Ghost looked over to the group of students. "So... off to the lab then?"

"Speak like that to my cousin again and I'll break youin half." Seren growled.

Blushing, Rei hid behind Ghost a bit.

Kasai had fallen back behind the barrier after the call went out and used her fire magic to blast some of the bigger Nobodies that got close. With Ghost's commando buddies arriving, Kasai held her fire and watched the commandos work, impressed with the show. She whistled as they left.

"Where do you get training like that?" She asked Ghost, the registered his question. "Umm, I guess so. We seem to be clear."

In a bright blur, Rook had his Keyblade at Dakt's throat.

"If you think you're going to control me again, you are wrong." He snarled at the dark monster. "You won't twist me again!"

Dakt gave a rough chuckle.

"I did not change you." It said. "Thoughts Ro-cel's. Your desires merely brought to the surface."

Before Rook could react, Dakt shoved him off with powerful, clawed arms, using its blade like legs to deflect Rook's Keyblade. Rook fell on his back, but was up on his feet in a flash, his Keyblade up in a guard position.

"Still have those thou-ghts, even as Rook." Dakt commented darkly. "May-be if you sur-vive this coming dark, your true thou-ghts will show thro-ugh ag-ain."

Darkness swirled around Rookand he found himself back in Twilight Town. He glared around, then took off to find the others.

She started to walk over to the group, but the attackers had left before she could shout at them. She sighed, and turned back to Ghost, responding to his question. She opened a door on the upper level, and found herself in a library. "Hey... Does anyone even know where the lab is, anyway?" She asked, realizing she had no clue.

Jin went down the stairs leading to this 'hidden training area' that Xio spoke of. At the bottom, he found an open space with lit torches on every end. Jin looked around. "Hello!" He called out. Suddenly, Jin felt an overwhelming presence ahead. "You have a considerable amount of Mana. Yen Sid was right about you boy. But I don't take his word for anything. I'll test you," A voice in the distance said to him. "Who are--," Jin couldn't even finish his sentence before he was surrounded by flying wizards. "Heartless Wizards," Jin said as he reached for his buster sword. "Lets go!" Jin shouted as he assumed a battle stance.

Jin ducked and evaded the wizard's blasts of Fire and Thunder. "I can't keep this up. I'll use my magic, or Materia," Jin said as he raised his hand. "Fire!" Jin shouted. The Materia of Fire conjured itself into a ball and shot itself at a Wizard. "Materia is easier to use than Magic?" Jin asked himself. It felt relatively easier than Magic. The Wizards disappeared. "Interesting. It's alot easier for you to use the Advanced Art of Materia than Modern-Day Magic? You're probably an Ancient," A figure came out of the darkness. "A frog?!" Jin exclaimed as he looked at the figure. It was a 4ft tall toad walking with a small staff. He wore magic robes with a white trim all the way down to his toes. "My name's Sage. I will be your trainer from here on out," Sage said. Jin put up his sword. "I've many questions about me, you, and this world, also the Lifestream," Jin said assuming that he was the next clue that Yen Sid left for him. "I'm aware. I am a master of many arts. Including Ancient Magic and Materia as well as Modern-Day Magic and Materia. I even taught Yen Sid and Merlin themselves," Sage formally introduced himself. Jin looked surprised. This sounds like alot of training, Jin thought to himself.

It was apparent that the students noticed the hailstorm of arrow-shots towards the nobody, because soon enough some were questioning about his friends. Ghost tried his best to answer their questions. "They're childhood friends of mine for as long as I can remember. We were always inseparable, but we all shared a paopu fruit to make it 'official'. When I was selected to train with the keyblade, I didn't want to leave them and they didn't want to leave me, so they took up specializations with the arrow-rifles and trained alongside me while I trained with my keyblade at the Academy. Same world that we were at, but at a different building a couple miles away." Ghost smiled as the memories of them all together at the Academy came rushing back and as Rei hid behind him.

"We had always called each other by the nicknames we gave to one another, but since I was the keyblade wielder and not them, only I had to go through the customary forsakening of my name and being given a new one once I find a special someone. Officially, my name is Three-Four, but oddly enough, when I met Rei she gave me back my name so I knew she was special to me in some way."

He chuckled a bit. "Don't worry, Rei. Spirit's just messing with us. Fun guy, once you really get to know him." He looked over to the students. "So... the inside of this mansion seems clear. Let's head inside and find this lab." As he entered the atrium, he glanced over to Jack, who had mentioned about it in the first place.
