Kingdom Hearts: Dark Uprising (RP)

"We should go and help Jack," Joel said. "The guys who did this --" Joel gestured at the ruined town "-- were most likely here because of us, so we kinda have to clean up after them. Besides, there are people that need helping. We can't leave them to die." And with that, Joel ran into the town, looking for Jack, and he quickly disappeared from the view of the others.

Tom quickly regains composure and looks on at the direction where Jack went. He is planning to help the people who live in the town. He puts his Keyblade over his shoulder as he makes a choice. He then speaks to Allitt by saying. "We should stay and help that guy out, we can't let this World go down.." Said Tom, wanting to protect Twilight Town.

Allitt nodded. "We can't let any worlds fall into darkness. Let's go save Twilight Town!" She shouted,running off in the direction Joel took. She noticed a building collapse in the distance, and ran over there. Eventually, she found Jack, Rook, and Kasai, along with the man who had blown up the clock tower. "There you all are!" She exclaimed, relieved to have found her fellow students.

Tom runs over to where Allitt is and looks around to see if there are any other people stuck in the remains of the building. Xadros is seen behind Tom and Allitt, smirking evilly. Tom turns around and glares at Xadros. Xadros smirks sadistically as he speaks to Tom and Allitt by saying. "My, my, you seem to not tell Allitt who you have a crush on... Are you shy, fool? Might as well take Allitt away, and make her my puppet of Darkness..." Said Xadros, revealing plans for Allitt. Tom clenches his fist and speaks to Xadros by saying. "I won't let you lay your fingers on the cute girl! Seriously, what's with you?! You've become a jerk!" Shouted Tom, trying to talk to Xadros. Xadros grins evilly as he speaks to Tom by saying. "I won't tell you... And, things won't be the same between us, wimp... And you shall become my vessel.." Said Xadros, revealing a mysterious plan. Xadros opens up a Corridor of Darkness and walks into it, and it closes behind him, leaving Tom confused by what Xadros said to him.

Jin walked towards the center of the Stonehenge clueless in what was about to happen next. Suddenly, the area sparked green lights. It was as if a wisp traveled from edge to edge sparking up the area. The array of green lights then turned into a vortex surrounding Jin. Jin yelled as his body disappeared from the world. "Jin!!" Cait shouted through the barrier. There was no response.

 

"Where am I?" Jin shouted as he looked from left to right to observe his location. The area was a cream, white color. There was trails of green lights flowing into a fountain in the center. On the top of the fountain was a girl trapped in a green crystal. "Hey buddy," A man said appearing behind Jin. "Who are you?" Jin returned the man's greeting. The man ran one hand through his semi-spiky hair and laughed. "You have my sword and you don't know me?" The man replied pointing to the Buster Sword. Jin's eyes immediately widened. "Uncle Zack!" Jin shouted.

(Yeahhhh, I'm getting really lost here. People are just randomly appearing from everywhere and doing God knows what, and everyone I try to interact with finds an excuse to interact with someone-else instead, or just ignores me. I think I'll drop out of this, sorry. Have fun with it though guys. )

Jack stood there in awe.  Were all the people in Twilight Town fake?  More structures fell before his very eyes, too many for anyone to block.  They seemingly crushed the citizens, but like before, they phased out and restructured to normal people.  "Holograms..."  he said, loudly.  "Why tell me?" he asked.  Jack looked around.  Were the hearts of the worlds unlocked once again?  No that can't be... once they're locked, they can't be unlocked.  Jack planned to go through the secret entry, to the abandoned mansion.  If he was going to find any clues, it was going to be there, but first, time to reunite with everyone else.  "Hey you!" he yelled to Rook, making his way towards him.

((Guys, I got a not so easy life of having to go around all the time with the folks or deal with shifts at work, can ya guys cut down the posting and not be so far ahead I get lost? Thanks.))

 

Spinning Aria of Dawn, Seren dispelled it.

"Jupiter sending children to Twilight Town?" He said evenly. "Great. Just great." He rubbed his temples. "I'm Seren de Wynter. My cousin is Rei if you have seen a pink-haired girl anywhere. I'm a graduate of the Academy and Twilight is my home. So would someone explain to me who the hell broke the tower, why the hell they did it so easily, and also why the hell he sent children?"

Seren crossed his arms, dropping a few feet down to be groundside. "And is this all of you? If so, then Kingdom Hearts have mercy." he sighed.

 

 

Then they ran off, causing Seren to fly over and land in front of them all, Keyblade drawn.

"OI! MIND TAKING A MINUTE TO MAKE - What's going on?"

 

He scowled. "Everything was fine until you kids showed up. What the hell is going on!"

(Well XxUtopiaxX's character was talking about the people of Twilight Town being fake and so I played along with the idea.  Everyone except for the students are fake as far as we know.  Anyone can retcon it if they want to change it up.  Besides that we're just trying to find some answers and remembering that the Old Mansion is important to the history of Kingdom Hearts, it might be a good place to search.  Anything else you lost on?)

(People in Twilight Town are fake.  Everything is breaking.  We have to save it from falling to Darkness.  Jack things the mansion might be the place to go.  Everyone else has agreed to pretty much go help out the town)

Allitt sighed, and looed Seren in the eyes. "We have no clue who that was who destroyed the tower, or how they managed to do it so easily. We'd never met them before now. All I could tell is that they're bad news, and we need to stop them before they cause any more crap to happen. As for why us 'children' were sent... It's out Mark of Mastery. Master Jupiter sees us fit to take the exam and become Keyblade wielders. You don't need to judge our skills just because we aren't as old as you are." Allitt was mad at the idea of being referred to as just a child. It made her feel weak, and insignificant. "Now, if you'll let us pass, we're trying to HELP you." Allitt began to calmly make her way towards the rest of the group, trying not to fall behind.

Seren flew after her.

"You are way over your head."

Scowling, Seren floated by the group, waiting for a response.

 

When Rei saw the clock tower, she screamed.

"NATE!" She was hysterical. "The tower! It...its..."

(waits for riku to reply >;O.  Guessing he's busy sooo)Jack just missed the strapping young lad and heard someone suggest just what he was thinking, going to the forest.  He stopped his tracks and turned around, but the guys was on his own.  Is he crazy?  I better warn the others!  he thought.  Jack made his way to the Clock Tower once more to rejoin Rei, Alitt and the rest of the group.  "Nice of you guys to join me...not!  They know a lot about us.  We need to find leverage and even the playing field, I'm thinking the mansion probably has something we can use!" he said, not wasting one moment.

"Don't underestimate us. We can handle it." Allitt was really starting to get annoyed now. Jack ran over to her and the others, telling everyone what he thought they should do next. "We're trying to follow, this guy stopped us though!" Allitt pointed at Seren, starting to yell. "If he hadn't stopped us, we'd be there by now!"

"What do they want?" Jack asked Alitt and then looked over to Seren.  "What do you want anyways?  If it's a battle, you're clearly outnumbered!" he boasted summoning his Kingdom Key.  He was finally motivated to start fighting and a new opponent sounded mighty nice.  "Let's do this," pointing his Keyblade at Seren.

Joel stepped in front of Jack, putting himself in between Jack and Seren. "There's no time to be fighting amongst ourselves. If he isn't gonna help --" Joel motioned toward Seren, "-- then ignore him. We need to move. Now where did you say we need to go? Some mansion? Lead the way, Captain Jack."

"You sure?  I'm itching for a battle," Jack said, realizing how horrible he was sounding.  He took a moment to compose himself and disarmed.  "Sorry about that, I don't know what got into me.  Let's just get this over with, I'm sort of done with this world, anyways... But we still have to save it!" he announced.  "If everyone's ready, follow me," ending his sentence and running towards the forest.  It would take a while to get there though, considering they were at the top.

Lucas waited in the forest for the rest of the gang to catch up. "Man....Where are they? I thought they would be faster then this. Hmph."

I was away for the weekend camping and holy crap I missed a lot Fortunately, Ghost and Rei [Oathkeeper] are in their own gummi ship, so I can easily type them back into all this. Oh, and ignore the other names in my post. They aren't that important.

With the Overwatch completing it's final descent, the ship finally started to fly through the clouds outside of Twilight Town, hiding the place from his view but still detectable on radar. The gummi radio finally came into life as a very familiar voice boomed over the speaker.

 

" *kzzt* Ghost, I'm reading you on radar. Is that you?" the voice asked. He immediately reached for the mic, still cradling Rei in his lap.

"Shadow?! What are you doing here in Twilight Town?"

"Just finished an intelligence run for Command and about to take off. You?"

"I've been assigned on a mission with a bunch of keyblade students."

"Hahaha! Since when did you become a babysitter all of a sudden? Oh man, wait until Spirit hears about... Wait...What the- Holy hell! The Clock Tower just collapsed!"

 

Ghost was shocked for a moment, the idea of the beautiful building being nothing more than smoldering ruins a bit much for him to contemplate. He slowly keyed in his mic. "WHAT?!?!"

 

"I... I... I don't believe it. It's just.... gone." 

 

Ghost was hoping that he was joking about it, wary of the fact he loved to pull jokes that really tugged on his victim's heartstrings. But as the ship finally punched through the clouds and the town finally came into view, the dustcloud from the collapsed tower was evident as his ship quickly approached the town.

 

"NATE!" Rei was hysterical. "The tower! It...its..." 

 

"Oh man... Yeah, get Spirit on the line, tell him we're going to need our architectual bookworm here in Twilight Town." Ghost told Shadow over the comms.

"Wait, what are you gonna do?"

"Investigate this tragedy..."

Seren bristled, then just rose into the air.

"If you die on the way to the mansion, you're gonna screw my conscience. "

He flew off, then flew back. "Rei will probably find you. She better not get hurt."

 

Flying away, Seren looked at the devastation.

"Jupiter, what the hell have you throw these kids into?"

 

Meanwhile, Rei broke from Ghost, Wings of Light flaring to life. "We gotta find the others! Give me a comm and open the door!"

(I just gotta say, very nice post, Javelin!  And I won't take control of anyone's characters without their permission, so confirm if you're coming with us to the forest or not.)

Rook tried to reach out and grab one of the people trapped in one of the collapsing buildings, only to recoil as his hand went through him.

"What?" He exclaimed as the person he touched exploded in dark smoke.

When the smoke cleared, Rook was gone.

 

"Come on, Rook!" Kasai called.

She took off for the forest, hearing over the battle the call to go there. She dismissed her Keyblade, as its large size usually made running at speed awkward, and booked for the others. She stopped when she nearly ran into Lucas.

"Sorry for being late." She said. "We all here?"
