The boy -- Kenji -- was still struggling a bit, but it seemed that his condition was improving by the minute. "The name's Joel," Joel replied.

The two then arrived at Joel's room. " I guess you can borrow some of my extra clothes. I don't really mind," Joel said, fidgeting with the zipper of his jacket. "Just hurry up, okay? We don't have too much time left before we have to get to the Hangar."

After the announcement of their quest,Jazz was a little shaken. "Papa told me storys about back when Sora and those others had to try and stop the darkness from overtaking the light... How long will it be until set foot in my home again, or here? Will i make it? I can't think like that. I need to make it back for them, and I will." She told herself, nodding at the Master's request, she ran back to her room. She grabbed a few potion's, ether's, and an elixir, then her Keychain, she always left it in her room since her Keyblade didn't need it to retain it's base form, but she figured it best to have it with her, not knowing when she would return. Finally, she packed a backpack with her essentials: Snack bars, extra clothing, health care supplies, and strapped it to her shoulder. Finally, she opened up her birthday present, yes that day would be her birthday, of course. Upon opening it, inside she saw a dog-tag necklace. It was of a two-piece crown charm, the inner piece was a crown, like the one Sora wore, but on the outside a simpler, larger crown shape hung, on the back of the center crown, her name engraved as well as her parent's. She removed the necklace from the box, undid the bead chain, and put it on. She then ran to the hangar, seeming to be the first to actually arrive, she stared at the massive ship in awe.

After a few minutes, Kenji came out wearing white baggy pants and a black, skin tight shirt. The boy tied back all his white locks with a single dread and hopped as if suprised. Kenji reached into his new pocket and took out a silver chain necklace with a lead heart on the end, an unfamiliar accessory to Joel. "This yours...?"

Demarion laughed quietly to himself. He'd noticed Jazz enter the Hangar and looked at her curiously, figuring she was too in awe of the ship to have noticed him.

Joel stared at the necklace that Kenji held. "Never seen it before," he replied. "Since you found it, I guess you can keep it."

Joel then proceeded to prepare for the journey. He searched his room (it was a bit messy since he was too lazy to clean it) for some extra clothes, Potions, Ethers, and other items that were necessary for adventuring. After stuffing it all in his backpack, he figured that he should get some for Kenji too. He found another backpack and filled it up. Finally, he took a good long look at his room - since he wouldn't be seeing it for a while - before turning off the lights and closing the door.

He tossed a backpack to Kenji and said, "Ready?"

Tom is seen waiting by the gummi ship, waiting for the others to arrive. He is seen folding his arms and letting out a sigh. He hopes to locate Xadros, convince him to come back, and find out what's disturbing the balance. He then speaks to himself out loud by saying. "Xadros... You better not have given into the Darkness completely.." Said Tom, talking about Xadros.

Tom is seen waiting by the gummi ship, waiting for the others to arrive. He is seen folding his arms and letting out a sigh. He hopes to locate Xadros, convince him to come back, and find out what's disturbing the balance. He then speaks to himself out loud by saying. "Xadros... You better not have given into the Darkness completely.." Said Tom, talking about Xadros.

Demarion was close by to Tom as he spoke out loud. He unfolded his arms and turned to walk over. "You talk to yourself a lot?" he smirked.

Joel stared at the necklace that Kenji held. "Never seen it before," he replied. "Since you found it, I guess you can keep it."

Kenji put the low-hanging necklace on and took out a few notebooks from his old cloak before tossing the black apparel aside. He stuffed the journals in his backpack, slung it around his shoulder, and nodded. "I am... reddee, Joel." Kenji then sheepishly sidled behind the kind boy, waiting for him to lead the way.

Allitt sighed. "I'm not sure..." Just then, a man in his thirties entered the room, looking at the group before him.

 

"I see you've all made it!" He exclaimed to the group. "I am Master Jupiter. Most of you here seem to be the wielders who I've assigned to take on a certain mission... I don't recognize some of you, though. We don't really have time for complicated matters, however. You see, we have sensed a disturbance in the balance of light and darkness. There seems to be as group trying to upset the balance. I am tasking you all with finding this threat and stopping it. Consider this your Mark of Mastery exam. If you pass, you might become Keyblade Masters. If you fail... Hopefully, we won't need to worry about that. Now then, you all have an hour to prepare. When you're ready, come to the Gummi Hangar. I've prepared a Gummi Ship for all of you to use, and included a map with worlds that seem to be falling into darkness. Now then, unless you have any questions... You're all dismissed!" He announced to the group.

Somewhat happy with Master Jupiter's briefing on the situation, Ghost raised an eyebrow when he requested that everyone report to the gummi hanger within an hour. "You know" he softly alerted Rei, "I got my own ship parked in there when I arrived here. Hopefully the rest of the crew here won't notice or monkey around it. If you wanna go there, fine. But if you'll excuse me, I got a library that needs to be picked at." As everyone went about preparing themselves, Ghost slipped away from the crowd and returned to the library, digging up more books that coincide with his goals all while watching the clock. He didn't want to miss the meeting in the hanger, regardless of the fact that his own ship was also parked in there.

Rook stood still for a little after the announcement was over, considering the implications. He hadn't expected a Mark of Mastery test this early. And that made he very concerned about the mission. Still, it had to be done.

He turned to ask Kasai if she was ready to see she had the most classic look of stunned astonishment on her face.

"Kasai?" He prompted her.

"Hmm?" She answered.

"You ready?"

She slowly nodded her head, her face not changing.

"Mark of Mastery." She murmured. "I just got here and I'm being tested to be a master."

"As are others." Rook reminded her. "And if we want to be part of the test, we need to get going."

Kasai nodded again, but didn't move. Rook sighed and grabbed her arm, dragging her along to the hanger.

Joel led Kenji through the hallways of the academy to the Gummi Hangar. When they arrived, they saw that a few of the others were already there. 'At least I'm not late this time,' Joel thought. He looked at the people who were present. He had seen them all at the first meeting, but he didn't really know any of them.

'Oh well, I can make friends later. I could go for another nap right about now,' thought Joel. He found a place to sit and instantly fell asleep.

Kenji backed up against a wall, unnerved by the massive gummi ship and the group of people. Kenji removed the backpach from his shoulder and picked out a notebook to read. Kenji only hoped no one noticed him.

Rei kissed Pancakes' cheek. "Ok. I'll leave mom a note on her PDA."

Running off, Rei left her mom a note and then headed for the Overwatch.

 

Her mom ok'd worse. Hell, her mom was just as bad as Zion was, and she wasn't even a de Wynter!

 

.....No wonder she fit so well into the family.

"Hmmm..." Ghost muttered to himself as he continued his little scholarly crusade in a section of the library, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Xehanort era, What you don't know about the Xehanort Saga, Xehanort. Man with a Plan or Baldie with Issues?, The Princess' Diaries..." He paused as he stared at the book, curious about learning the princesses of heart's intimate secrets from back then. "Whoever managed to get their hands on the diaries of those princesses and published this, deserves a medal and a spot with us in GIEF." he chuckled to himself as he proceeded to the check-out counter. After cradling his book as he exited the place, he promptly made his way to the gummi hanger, where he unsurprisingly spotted Rei playing around on his ship. The Overwatch as he named it gave off a vibe that he couldn't really put his finger on, was sitting there ready and waiting for it's owner to return. He noticed some of the other personnel from the room earlier as well, and looked around for the other gummi ship that Master Jupiter had promised them. "Did I miss Master Jupiter here?" he politely asked Rook, hoping that he didn't miss anything important.

Rook turned at the sound of Ghost's question.

"I haven't seen him here, yet." He answered. "I'm still wondering where we are all going in the ship."

Kasai, recovered from her previous shock, shrugged.

"Hey, if we are all going to one place, we should be able to handle anything!" She declared, cheerfully.

"Yeah, I'm worried about that, too." Rook admitted.

Allitt stared at the Gummi Ship. "Looks pretty big, compared to the usual smaller team Gummi Ships. I hope there's room for everyone in there..." She muttered. After a while, Master Jupiter entered the Hangar.

 

"I see most of you have already arrived. This will be your ship: The Highwind. There should be space for all of you to live comfortably! It has an autopilot installed, but if any of you would like to pilot it, that would be fine as well! Its course is set for the nearest world on the map, which should be marked with an 'A'. Now then, that's all for now. Good luck to all of you!" He left the hangar, leaving the students alone. A door opened on the Highwind, and a set of stairs rolled out from the inside, allowing entrance.

 

"Well, we'd best get going now." Allitt was the first to go up the stairs. She looked around the inside in awe. The cockpit had a few chairs inside, and was filled with controls. There were various other rooms too, some of which were filled with machinery, while others weren't too different from what you'd find in a normal home.

Tom took a seat near the controls. He smiles a goofy smile as he looks on at it. He folds his arms as he looks around the ship. He then speaks to himself by saying. "Wow! This ship is impressive. It's like the gummi ship that Donald and goofy once used! I feel like in heaven." Said Tom, admiring the gummi ship.

Jin took a step in the gummi ship and surveyed its contents. "Looks pretty big," Jin said. However, Jin knew that he needed his full strength to carry this mission. "Allitt, Tom, and everyone else, I'll catch up with you all later. I need to get my sword by Master Yen SId," Jin told them. With that, he left the gummi ship and started walking back to the Academy.

 

"Interesting, these Keyblade Wielders are being sent on a mission to find people like me," Xio could be barely seen flying from above. "I'll inform Xadros later about this," Xio said as he flew away.

Allitt stared at Jin as he left, and sighed. "The Master told us all to be prepared when we get here... Oh well, at least it gives us time to look around the ship, I guess." She muttered again. She found the bedrooms after a while: There were separate rooms for the boys and girls. On the insides were a few rows of beds, probably more than enough for the group. She removed the backpack she'd put her belongings in and placed in next to a bed, then went into a lounge-type room and sat down for a moment.

"Cool!" Jazz said, running aboard the ship. Control surfaces and rooms, a kitchen, and many other things were strewn about. Deciding to claim a room for herself, she headed to the cabins first, finding the biggest bed and claiming it for herself.

"Aw man, I feel like that message was a prank now..."  Jack stood in the middle of what seemed to be a deserted part of the world he had entered hours before.  He sat on top of a green roof, looking at the tram moving through it's designated tracks.  

 

"I mean, maybe I was supposed to meet up with everyone there before going here," he wondered to himself.  He rubbed his hair in confusion, as he got up.  He began to pace around back and forth, everything seemed to be right with the orders he had received, so he really wondered why he was the only one there.  

 

"Well, if no one was going to bother showing up, I could have stayed home and read some more... gotta mentally exercise as well, never know what will pop up.  Ah!  Let's-"  Interrupting his thought was the sound of his shoe slipping down the roof, as he struggled to grab the edge before completely falling.  Luckily, his years of mental and physical exercise landed him a nice soft touch to the floor, still falling on his back, though.

 

"Man... I'll just wait for them in the sandlot," he said, patting himself off and getting up.  He began to head to where he had said as he looked around to observe how serene the place was.

Joel woke up to see that everyone had disappear. He noticed that the door of the Gummi Ship was open, so he went on inside.

The ship's interior was a sight to behold. Joel took a peek at the various rooms in the ship before he found the bedrooms. He picked a room at random and threw his backpack onto the bed. Normally, Joel would have taken a nap, but he had already had four today, so he decided to do some exploring.

After a minute he came across a sort of lounge, and he saw that Allitt was seated in one of the chairs.

Rei didn't want to wait on the Overwatch. Ghost looked like he'd be going with them.

He wasn't going to make her wait behind, was he? That wouldn't be fair. Or even nice.

 

So, she stood up and walked right up to Ghost.

"So, Pancakes. Are you going to leave me behind on the Overwatch or are we gonna follow them to wherever?" She asked him quietly so no one remaining would hear.
