keystrike 145 Posted August 2, 2013 (edited) Atlantica, the only world Rob got lost in. I would be seriously impressed if you never got lost in Monstro. Kh1 worlds were in general just hard to navigate and while Atlantica is no exception it definitely wasn't that bad. It is about as far from linear that you can get and still packed with detail as opposed to the worlds in kh3d. I actually miss it in some ways. Tigerruss 576 Posted August 2, 2013 I personally liked it more than Halloween town back when I ran through it a lot. Though I think I like the swimming mechanic in KH II better, it's a shame we never got to test that out in actual combat... I remember getting a bit lost in Atlantica, though now I probably would be able to figure things out pretty quickly. I liked how King Triton treated Sora, hinting that not all those who wielded the keyblade were good. What did I think about the 3 dimensional combat? Honestly I found it easier in Atlantica than in Neverland, and you can dodge attacks if you are used to moving in 3 dimensions. You can't stay still when fighting there, you have to keep on moving and that is a nice feature of it. And like others have said, Ariel was one of the most useful party members. And honestly I don't get their decision to redo the story in KH II, it just makes Ariel look like an imbecile, I mean she fell for the EXACT same trap twice. This saying applies really well to it... "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me; fool me three times...." 1 SoraVen Roxas??? reacted to this

Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted August 19, 2013 I'm gonna get crap for this, but Atlantica wasn't too bad. The transformation to merman with Sora was funky, and I play the music numbers in KH II when I just want simple, fairly laxed game play. That's my view on it. I won't start any fights with people, that's just what I think. It sounds like you had a lot of finny fun there! Finny fun?

Oh, yeah: lightbulb. The first one, after the tutorial.

ChildOfTerra_FriendOfRiku 135 Posted August 29, 2013 I actually like it. For KH1, the three-dimensional combat and controls were neat, not to mention Sora and friends looked cool, the story was good, and I love The Little Mermaid. For KH2... okay, "Swim This Way" is painfully cheesy, and the ending song and Sora's musical farewell weren't that great, but I really liked the inclusion of the songs from the film, and Ursula's song was pretty cool. jorrell3946 70 Posted September 6, 2013 I like it. But it's my least visited world.
AaySquare 445 Posted September 6, 2013 I think it's okay.. but some parts of the place in Atlantica annoys a lot. I got confused for where to go most of the time. Especially that dolphin part...
Jake 1,488 Posted September 7, 2013 I hate it sooooooooooooooo much in Kh 1 but in chain of memories Its less annoying because you dont need to be in merman form or mermaid form hehe my point is..... kh1 a pain in the ass kh chain of memories..... less annoying and much easier
gothamninja394 92 Posted September 7, 2013 (edited) It was interesting seeing Sora Donald and Goofy singing Under The Sea, but thats it. Why do you think its the last world I even visit before the world that never was? It sure isnt cause I love it! I hate it sooooooooooooooo much in Kh 1 but in chain of memories Its less annoying because you dont need to be in merman form or mermaid form hehe my point is..... kh1 a pain in the ass kh chain of memories..... less annoying and much easier Honestly that part didnt bother me too much. The swimming part, yes. But seeing Sora as a half-dolphin That was amusing Edited September 7, 2013 by gothamninja394
Haven37 5 Posted September 8, 2013 (edited) I actually liked it in KH1, but absolutely hated it in KH2. I enjoy the characters and story (I should say that I love 'The Little Mermaid' movie!), and the swimming mechanics never really bother me. But the musicals in the second just make me cringe... I actually muted my TV during those parts. Edited September 8, 2013 by Haven37 1 SoraVen Roxas??? reacted to this
