Favorite group of friends

Ok i haven't seen any similar topics though i may have missed it, so i am sorry if this topic has been done before. Any how out of the the three main groups of three that are focused on in the series (Sora,Kairi,Riku),(Roxas,Axel,Xion)and(Ventus,Aqua and Terra), which is peoples favorite.

 

Also as a side note, has anyone else notice that it always seems to be the older male of each group that makes the worst choices (Riku and Terra and the darkness and Axel witholding answers from Roxas and Xion)? Just Saying.

But out of those I'd say Terra Aqua and Ven. Also wanted to say, I don't think that Axel made a bad choice by not telling Roxas and Xion stuff. If anything I'd say Xion did the worst stuff.

Kairi, Riku and Sora.  They were the original trio and I'm a traditionalist.  

 

They also knew each other growing up (which Terra and Aqua may have but clearly they didn't with Ven) whereas ARX only knew each other for a matter of days so would have a stronger bond

RAX bc we got to see their friendship develop over time and we see them doing normal 'friendship' activities like chilling out together, kidding around, making plans to go to the beach, and eating ice cream .. We actually got to see them interact as friends do .

Out of the choices that you provided, I'm having a hard time. My intuition says Sora, Riku, and Kairi, but aside from the first half hour of KH1, there hasn't been enough time to see how they bounce off one another. 

 

I think I'm quoting Dracozombie when I say the trio of Ven, Aqua, and Terra seem more like co-workers then friends. Everything about them feels really stiff, maybe because we don't know enough about their backstory and interactions outside of just trying to be keyblade masters. The only one out of them who seems legit is Ven, and that's mainly because his character motivation is hero worship of the other two.

 

I think, actually, I might have to opt for Axel, Roxas, and Xion. The reason why I think their relationship feels the most fleshed out is because, well, that was the whole point of Days. It spends a years worth of time showing how they grow, what they think of one another, how they each bounce off one another differently, and what they do in different situations. Because they had the most interaction, I feel that they are the most developed and nuanced out of all of them.

 

Now, having said that, I'm sure that if we were to get more time with Riku, Sora, and Kairi together in KHIII, I would easily be swayed to their side, because I think the relationship they have, if not fully developed yet, is probably the most complex and interesting. It just needs more screen time.

Hats go off to Roxas, Axel, and Xion, the only trio of friends besides Sora/Donald Goofy that actually interact as FRIENDS.  Chilling out, helping each other, worrying over each other, being happy with each other... and we don't even need to see it in flashbacks, or climactic points in the game--it's what Days is all about.

 

But don't get me wrong, I do believe the other trios are friends, even TAV.  It's just that in practice, they're not as developed as RAX.

Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. Their story makes me sad. I would say Sora, Riku, Kairi but there are barely any scenes of the three of them bonding. And as for Axel, Roxas, and Xion, I haven't played Days so I wouldn't know.

Axel, Roxas and Xion. Like others have already said, they're the only ones we see interacting like firends do, we see their daily life and how they get to know each other and become friends : ) And I also love the characters so much.

 

I still like the others a lot too. I love Ven, Terra and Aqua so much and I think it's great how, they are the most clearly all friends together - with the other trios it's always mostly Sora+Riku and Sora+Kairi or Roxas+Axel and Roxas+Xion. But with TAV we can see them all interacting with each other.
