Lalalablah 1,538 Posted July 21, 2013 Try a meat substitute such as soy or tofu. Companies like Morning Star or Boca burgers make soy food that is supposed to replace meat. You can barely tell a difference and when I was a vegetarian I would eat these all the time. Next time you go to the store by a box of boca burgers or morning star chicken things and just try it. Who knows you might like it?

Lalalablah 1,538 Posted July 21, 2013 i actually enjoy soy burgers and the Barbecue chicken "soy" sandwiches were even betterYeah they're great! And there are a variety of choices such as meatballs, chicken wings or nuggets, burgers, bacon, and all come in different flavors. I wouldn't suggest the soy bacon though, nothing beats the original haha.

We have been eating meat since prehistoric times when our ancestors hunted the beasts of the wilderness and we wouldnt have kept eating it if we didnt need to eat it. Slaughter houses allow animals to be tortured alive, i think that less painful methods should be enforced because surely you dont need to kill them while they are conscious and make them go though that kind of pain pointlessly. Cucco 1,907 Posted July 21, 2013 If we didn't breed certain animals to eat, They would most likely go extinct. Plus without burgers i don't know what i would do.

Amon 4,279 Posted July 22, 2013 (edited) Knowing that something was sacrificed for my survival makes me feel important. I don't care if the cow was raised in a concentration camp or a mansion, when it's chopped up and cooked I don't think humane treatment matters so much. Tigerruss 576 Posted July 22, 2013 Scientists are devising ways of growing meat without what the general public would consider a living organism. And they have made artificial burgers that I think cost over $50,000 to make. (possibly a lot more) So, while it is still a long way off, it is something that might be available to us in the future! But for now if it bothers you so much, I would say look into vegetarian diets, and also research what supplements are recommended for a meat free diet. Or you could just continue eating meat, either way is fine with me. OR you could eat insects instead, GET REVENGE FOR ALL THE TIMES THEY BIT YOU! Revolart 431 Posted July 26, 2013 Some people have recomended vegetarian food that would supply the necessary nutrients for the human body . Just know that certain vegetables does not provide the same amount of nutrients compared to meat.
