KH linked themes

Hey guys, as almost you all know, the themes of related people in Kingdom Hearts usually share part of a melody: Ventus' theme contains part of Sora and Roxas' theme, Terra's theme contains part of Riku's theme (even tho it's hard to notice), Vanitas' theme contains Sora and Roxas/Ventus's theme.... But  here the weird thing: why does Aqua shares a part of the melody of her theme with.... Xion instead of Kairi? What do you guys think about this?  Could it be that there is a link between Aqua and Xion? P.S.: If you can't find Xion's theme inside Aqua's theme it's because you gotta focus on the piano melody and about Terra's theme....it shares three notes with the melody of Riku's theme so if you don't pay attention you would never be able to notice it Now, your opinion guys

Well, Xion does look a lot like Kairi because Sora's memories were mostly abou the girl, so Kairi has a connection with Xion (very strong in fact). That could explain why they used Xion's theme in Aqua's.

Of course it would make more sense to put Kairi's.... But this is a good reason

Lol man Yes both Musique pour la tristesse the Xion and Vector to the Heavens share part of Kairi's theme (And contains Dearly Beloved too) and about the fact to ask to Yoko Shimomura.... I'd say we should ask Nomura instead since he's the one who knows what to do and why

Its because Xion looks more like Aqua than kairi does currently that or Xion's theme just fits better.

Not everything we find around is true. If what you said is true then they made Sora and Roxas the same because they was too lazy to make a new 3D model,which is totally wrong since they made tons of 3D models along the series.... The decision to make Xion look like Kairi is of course something they did because the story needed it, not because they didn't wanted to make another 3D model.

Are you talking about physical appearance or about the way to be? Because like I said before, the look of Kairi and Xion is the same so talking about appearance it is impossible that one looks more like Aqua than the other And about the way to be I'd say that Kairi's personality is the one closer to Aqua's.... Plus, Ventus, Terra and Aqua are the predecessors of Sora, Riku and Kairi and they are linked to each others in the name, in elements, in powers and in personalities (I'm not saying they have the same personality but that they share a part of way to be each others).... So, Ventus is linked to Sora, Terra is linked to Riku and Aqua is linked to Kairi.... This fact makes Kairi fit better than Xion  in the role of being similar in the personality of Aqua
