gothamninja394 92 Posted September 3, 2013 They should've just left it alne To each his own. And this might be what it takes to bring the rest of the original series to dvd as well
Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted September 3, 2013 From what I've heard from my friend, they've changed a lot of things from the original show, particularly the voice actors of the main cast...except Omi, apparently Tara Strong is still on board (I guess that's good news). Ultimus Grid 546 Posted September 3, 2013 (edited) I loved and missed Xiaolin Showdown! It was one of my all time favorite shows! I really didn't like how it ended, so I'll be sure to watch this! Edited September 3, 2013 by Ultimus Grid
Varnish 319 Posted September 3, 2013 I vaguely remember this. It seems interesting.

gothamninja394 92 Posted September 4, 2013 Xiaolin Chronicles airs September 14th according to the commercials and the schedule.
Shulk 8,623 Posted September 4, 2013 Xiaolin Chronicles airs September 14th according to the commercials and the schedule. It already aired in the US and Canada. To be honest, it wasn't all that great, at least compared to Showdown. I'm sure newer fans are into it, but it changed too much for it to be as good as XS. I'm hoping that it'll improve over time, though.

Shulk 8,623 Posted September 4, 2013 How the heck did I miss it? Tell me, how'd I miss it? It really wasn't advertised much, I almost missed it. Thankfully, I checked the Wiki beforehand.
gothamninja394 92 Posted September 4, 2013 I heard a 90 minute preview was shown, but not the whole series.
Shulk 8,623 Posted September 4, 2013 I heard a 90 minute preview was shown, but not the whole series. That was the first 3 episodes. Although they didn't show any episodes on Saturday, which is apparently when they're airing it. It could have been a preview then.

Are these the same writers!? Please tell me they aren't! I seem to remember seeing it's the same director... It could be some legal issues with Warner Bros though, because it's a new studio making XC. That's why all the Wu names and VAs were changed.
Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted September 4, 2013 My only problem...Disney . I cannot watch this due to Disney ... Maybe if it shows up on Hulu though.
gothamninja394 92 Posted September 4, 2013 WHATS WITH DOJO'S COLOR SCHEME!?
Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted September 4, 2013 I seem to remember seeing it's the same director... It could be some legal issues with Warner Bros though, because it's a new studio making XC. That's why all the Wu names and VAs were changed. I just read up upon this, and not only do the legal issues with Warner Bros affect the Wu names, but the fact that Canadian policy requires that all the voice actors be Canadian means that only Tara Strong (Omi) and Jennifer Hale (Katnappe) are able to return to the series. Everyone else: SCREW THEM, THE'RE AMERICAN!!! I mean what the f*** Canada!? We've never done this to you. Almost half of our celebrities are Canadian! Tara Strong, Jim Carrey, Justin Beiber. We've never banned them from projects (some may have tried though), so why do this to us? As for Warner Bros.......ah, screw it. They probably support SOPA too. If these three promo episodes are what's to be expected in this new show, I for one, am not giving it any more chances. I tend to give many shows a lot of chances, sometimes more than they deserve, but this show had me and then lost me within the first 5 minutes of the first episode. And after three episodes of this, well, enough is enough for me. I won't watch simply because I don't care, and if other fans out there think like me (not the most common phenomenon mind you), then this show may never make it past its first season. It's happened before, and I certainly don't see any hope in this show. If any of you feel like giving this series a chance though, feel free to by all means, it's not my place to tell you what you can or can't see (it'd be boring that way). If you actually like this show as much as the original, then congratulations. You have found something redeeming in this show to admire that is just not apparent to me. Just don't hate me for hating this, because I'm not going to hate you for liking this. Still, if there is one good thing that has happened with this, it would be two words: Cree FREAKING Summer (okay, three technically). I actually believe she does a better Wuya than Susan Silo. gothamninja394 92 Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) Really? A company that requires the voice actors to be canadian!? GRR! Its already sounding like garbage, but I will try to stomach the first 3 episodes before deciding on whether I'll await September 14th's premiere or not. gothamninja394 92 Posted September 5, 2013 (edited) Have to say, this company, BLEH! And yet, I'm still watching the show. Dojo's way of figuring out the shen-gong-wu have activated is so gross! His color scheme is outta whack and these shen-gong-wu names SUCK! You're making Canada look bad ya idiots! None the less, I'm able to keep watching. Even with the horrible voice changes, .EWW! He's so gross, and all he's doing is being sad or learning of the activation of shen gong wu. Edited September 5, 2013 by gothamninja394
