In the Disney world Oswald is a lost and recently returned character, the whole game of kh3 is to find the lost people, my questions are:

 

Would you put Oswald in kh3?

How would it be done?

What would he be like and what part would he play?

Yes I would. Yen Sid would send Sora and Kairi to Oswalds world which might on the verge of falling into darkness. He would travel with the King and Riku in search for other Keyblade wielders.

I imagine Oswald being the rival to Mickey, a sort of mirror image to Mickey, like riku is to sora, darker but still good on the inside

Yeah, the former. Introducing any characters that would be as important as being one of King Mickey's rivals wouldn't really work this late into the series, since it would be the most random thing ever considering there were no clues or build-up to it in the other games. I won't mind him in the futurte saga, but not this one.

Oswald in KH3:

Why? To make up for all the lost years and for awesomeness

How? He could have been undercover all throughout the series and we didn't know it, he could wield a keyblade just like Mickey and it turns out Mickey and Oswald trained together and had the Mark of Mastery together, but suddenly he was thought dead when Master Xehanort cast a spell on him, but he really just sent him to the realm of darkness, and met some people along the way, but escaped.
