What game series is scarier? Mario or Sonic?

I've never really played a sonic or mario game or zelda or any nintendo frachise really and I'm a fan of nintendo lol.(not even ssb and i perfer digimon over pokemon)

Yes both are pretty creepy, mario is sounding creepier though.

 

i always thought sonic was nice and light harted, but there was that wierd thing in cd, or rather many wierd things in cd lol.

Also, some of the levels in Sonic Riders are pretty spooky X3; If you can count newer games.

 

And the music from Sonic Advanced 3 to this day still gives me the spooks.

My vote goes to Sonic. Mario, for the most part, all I can think of I guess is Weegee.....and those falling spiked stamp things in some of bowsers dungeons.

 

But I think i've experienced more 'spook' from the sonic series.
