Taeyeon 1,137 Posted July 8, 2013 Most of it. I don't listen to certain rock, scream-o, and old country. I used to be a DJ (Still am, but school is in the way). So I did a lot of mainstream stuff, while doing electro, dance, dubstep, and trance, but people are shock when they find out I listen to Orchestral, Epic, Game/Movie sountracks, and classical. ChildOfTerra_FriendOfRiku 135 Posted July 8, 2013 Some of my fave music is from soundtracks and musical theater, but I have a VERY eclectic taste in music. However, the singer has to actually be SINGING, so no scream-o for me, and very little rap.
Dracozombie 4,554 Posted July 8, 2013 My musical tastes are pretty much limited to video game and anime soundtracks. I have a taste for orchestrated music, but I still slant towards orchestrated remixes of vidja game music. Yeah, my tastes are rather narrow... 3 jjennway, DG20 and Sora reacted to this

OthersiderME 614 Posted July 8, 2013 anything that isn't screamy or destructively bass heavy is fine by me. as long as it isn't country. i hate country and i don't know why.
xoblivionx13 1,133 Posted July 8, 2013 I'll listen to pretty much any type of music except for Rap, R&B, and Christian (I think that's what it's called). I really like Celtic, Rock and Movie Soundtracks. If I like a certain song outside of a certain genre that I prefer, it doesn't matter but I can listen to anything....I love music! Kaneki Ken 1,516 Posted July 8, 2013 hmmmm..... alternative, alt. rock, pop (certain artists, not jb or 1d), metal (depending on how its played and/or lyrics), rock, classic rock, hard rock, techno, trance (vocal and uplifting preferred), KH, TWEWY, Goo Goo Dolls, some FF music (mostly FF13), rap (depending on lyrics), J-Rock, J-Pop, and remixes of songs that work well enough. yep. thats the kind of music I listen to. and if u were with me in person, u probably b mindblown the the playlists I have in my phone. I also play most of the genres mentioned on my guitars.
Deadpool 1,200 Posted July 8, 2013 I'll listen to all kinds of genres. Every genre has to have at least one good song. 1 RoxSox reacted to this
Caity 3,946 Posted July 8, 2013 I listen to pop, r n b, emo, metal, punk, country, k-pop, j-pop, japanese anime themetunes, some dubstep (Zelda step), few rave/techno music, movie soundtracks, opera, musical soundtracks, rock and anything else I fancy. The only thing I really don't listen to is screamo, I'm not a fan of shouting in general so it bothers me, I only have one song that involves like a verse of screamo and that's it. LeYenrz 276 Posted July 8, 2013 i stay in the VOCALOID and Video Game OSTs area. for some reason i don't like songs sung by actual people. i like non vocal orchestral as well. especially stuffs from Ghibili movies 1 I♥KH reacted to this
Xiro 3,468 Posted July 8, 2013 Although I have a few 'favorite' genres, I will listen to music from most genres. As long as I like the song, I really don't care what the genre is.
atheist123 583 Posted July 8, 2013 Mainly metal and alternative rock. I listen to some hip hop, some pop/electronic music, but my favourite bands/songs are definitely in the hard rock/metal subgenres. I like screaming/yelling/harsh vocals in songs when it adds to the atmosphere. Aggressive songs need it, but it shouldn't be added to everything. As for "screamo" (whatever that means), I do like some metalcore (eg: Between the Buried and Me) and post-hardcore (Enter Shikari) as well as emo bands that use harsh vocals...
