Orchestrafanboy19 101 Posted July 5, 2013 I believe the term is "mother tongue." Anyways, yes, English is my first language. I also speak Spanish (well, okay I understand it better than I speak it) and I know a few phrases of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Italian, French, German, etc. Emphasis on few. Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted July 6, 2013 My first language was Spanish, since my family is Cuban. I learned English when I was very young, maybe three or four years old. I'm Cuban too~!And English is my native language. I began to learn Spanish when I was 10 also.
Rinax 473 Posted July 6, 2013 Yep, it is. I wish people would speak/type it properly though. It just makes English look terrible. I've been taking French classes in high school and finished French 12 this year. (I'm a semester school. ) I know very little Japanese because I've been watching video game videos and anime. I don't bother taking classes for it though. I prefer not to be forced to learn.
mosokisa 93 Posted July 6, 2013 Haha, yeah. My parents drilled all the grammar and language into me when I was a laddie. It's not Russian but it's very similar (I have a Russian friend and we talk to each other in our languages and we can understand each other) It's Serbian. Okay! Cool that you can still understand each other, they must be very similiar then : O 1 TwiliLord reacted to this
