After all, they had been there before in BBS and they knew about Yen Sid and how he taught the king. Nweintraub 630 Posted July 4, 2013 It has to do with the fact that even though Kingdom Hearts 2 takes place after Birth by Sleep, it was made AFTER Kingdom Hearts. Donald and Goofy knew about the events of bbs and how the safety of the keyblade wielders is now linked to sora's destiny. but because sora was about to go on a dangerous adventure of his own it would be to much to dump all of that on his little mind too. So they made a deal with mickey not to tell or let on anything that might lead to unveil the identity or details of the events of 12 years ago. Lol.The only solution I came up with when I thought about it was that since Donald and Goofy went into sleep along with Sora, they simply forgot.
